Mia PoV 

I walk into my room by my self, Oscar went to get ready in his own room.  I noticed a big white box on my bed I look at it curiously. Thinking it was from Oscar I open it, I see a note laying on top of a beautiful red dress. I take out the dress and lay it on the bed. I see a pair of red heels in the box and I take them out.  They were not very tall heels just right for me. Smiling I try them on and they were a perfect fit. I picked up the note and read what it said. 

Good evening my mate 

I found this dress and thought of you wearing it. I hope to see you wearing it tonight.

Alpha Damien White

I dropped the note of the floor and took the shoes off. And threw them back in the box. I picked up the red dress and placed it back and I took the box. “Nope that’s not happening” I say to myself I place the box under my bed hoping Oscar would not see it. 

I walk away and took out the dress I was going to wear and started to get ready. I decided to wear a black long dress with a low front cut and back. I found a pair of black heels and put them on. I look In the mirror and started to fix my hair, my hair was long and blonde. I make a wave in my hair and put it up in a small bun. I leave two strands hanging at the side of my face. I use pins to keep it all together. I put on a little bit of make up on for the finishing touches.  I find my necklace that Oscar had giving me to wear. And with that I was done. 

I walked out my room to find a sexy green eyed man standing by my door. He was wearing a 3 piece black suit and black shoes, he was wearing a red tie. He looks me up and down smiling a wicked grin. “Well we could skip the party. Don’t think the Alpha would mind” he says walking towards me. Licking my lips and put my hand out for him to take which he does. We walk down to the main hall, the pack members say hello to us and bow to Oscar.  

 We get to the hall and see our Alpha and Luna talking to a few other Alphas. I don’t see him yet which is good, don’t want to see him. Oscar holds on to my hand and Squeezes it “your okay little wolf” smiling down at me.  I nod and walk beside him feeling proud and confident.  

Oscar gives me a drink and sees an old friend and points to where he will be if I needed him. He walks away and I spot Milly at the bar. I walk over to her” damn girl” she looks up and down at me.  “If i likes girl your be my girl damn” laughing at my friend we get another round of drinks.  We have one more when I noticed my mate standing talking to Oscar and Jake. “Well don’t think this is going to go well” I mumble Milly looks where I was looking. “ why do you say that”. “Well that’s the man I love and well the Alpha next to him is my mate” I whispered the last bit pointing to them. She looked at me with an opened mouth, I nodded. “You lucky wolf” was all she could say.  

When I looked back at them I noticed Oscar was gone and Alpha Damien was watching me, I gave him a look of evil and walked away. 

I felt his eyes on my everywhere I went, I walked towards Oscar and Jake who was talking and stood next to them. I placed my mouth on Oscars ear and whispered I love you.  Oscar then kissed my forehead and started talking and laughing with Jake. Our Alpha came over and started to talk about Alpha Damien and his Luna. Not wanting to hear the conversation I walked away and out into the gardens. Feeling like am being watched I turn away to see my mate following me outside. 

“Where are you going and that’s not the dress I wanted you to wear” he said in his deep voice. “Why do you smell like that wolf” he sounded pissed off. Taking a deep breath I said “why do you smell like a she wolf that’s not your mate” he looks at me laughs. “ oh you have a lot to learn” he looks at me and yanks my head back to face his. “ what do you want from me” I said. “ I want my mate” he says. “I don’t want you” I said to him as I try to pull away from him.  “I have a mate and it’s not you” I Struggle to get free. “What that Beta, his nothing compared to me sweet heart” he yanks my hair a little bit harder. “Please let me go, your hurting me” he looks me up and down “weak you are just weak and don’t deserve me a Alpha as your mate” he let’s go of my head and pushes me down on the floor.  He walks away leaving me sitting on the floor crying holding the back of my head. “Mia” I turn around to see Jake standing behind me. “What happened why are you crying” still crying as Jake pulls me up from the floor. “Let’s get you to your room, do you want me to find Oscar” oh my Oscar. I shake my head saying no and Jake helps me inside and to my room.  

Jake leaves me and goes back down to the party, I told him not to tell Oscar what he has seen. I didn’t want Oscar to get upset. 

I lock my bedroom wanting to be alone I lay in my bed and cried my self to sleep.  

I wake up feeling Oscar near I hear him trying to open the door. But when he was unable to he links me “what’s wrong little wolf” I get out of bed and walk to the door and unlock it. He opens it and looks at me.  He picks me up in his arms and hugs me hard. He puts me down and looks at me “your not telling me something little wolf, talk to me now” I fall into his arms and started to cry again. “ shhh little wolf” he try’s to comfort me. “Damien White that Alpha he followed me and spoke to me” rubbing the back of my head and the memory. Oscar turned me around and looks at the back of my head noticing it was a little red. “I will kill him” Oscar says. “No you won’t he will be leaving tomorrow and we won’t see him again” he nodded and held on to me. “Let’s sleep little wolf” he says and takes me to bed. I watch him as his eyes glassed over and I knew he was linking someone. Closing my eyes I hear the door opening and feeling the lost of Oscar next to me.
