Mia PoV 

I wake up and turn to find myself along, pulling the bed covers off I get out of bed. Today at the pack house is a very busy one, we had visitors. An Alpha of a different pack was coming with his Luna and some of his pack. Hoping to find their mates in our pack.  Smiling thinking about my Oscar as I get in the shower. In the evening we are having a party with the  packs around us. Only a small one.  

It was my day off however I had to help with setting up the party and bbq in the garden.  

“Little wolf don’t be late” I hear my green eyes in my head smiling I send him images of me in the shower. I hear him groaning in my head “that’s not fair little wolf” giggle back at him I continue to wash my self.  I get out and and dry my self, I look though my wardrobe for something to wear.  I find a pair of dark blue jeans and a baby blue top that matches my eyes.  

I walk down to the garden and help with the decor, I hear some cars pulling up. I ran towards the door and stand next to Oscar. Oscar had decided that he wants to tell the pack about us and make me female Beta.  Which the Alpha had blessed us now.  

My wolf started to act a little funny and sat back in my head. As she does this the car door opened, and out came a woman about 5ft 4 and a man about 6ft got out. Taking a deep breath I smell coffee and her all over him. This made me feel so angry that he was with someone else. Watching him help her get out watching her and not his mate. I looked away in pain as she kissed him on the lips and started smiling at him. 

He didn’t even look at me as he got closer to us. He said hello and shook hands with our Alpha and then Oscar and Jake. He then looked down at me with hate and I see no love there at all. He wasn’t to bad looking tho  had brown boring eyes and black hair. He didn’t look interested in me at all as his mate he should of, he made me feel unwanted with the way he was looking at me. 

He then looked at the woman and inducted her as the Luna of his pack.  Not knowing what to say I didn’t say anything to her I just smiled and bowed at them both. I stood and watched at they walked in leaving me standing along at the door. I turn to see them walking into the offices hall and into the Alphas office. 

Trying not to cry in front of my mate and the man I love was very hard. I was a little upset that Oscar didn’t notice my discomfort even standing next to him. Taking a deep breath I ran away into the woods, I didn’t go fair. I climbed up a tree and stand on a branch. 

I watch the pack house from my hiding space, I see Oscar walking back out  of the door looking around. “He is looking for us” my wolf says to me “ I know” I say back. “Go to him we will reject our mate for our Oscar ” my wolf says. Smiling I stay there watching him, he started to look a little pissed off. He knew I was close but where he couldn’t no.  I feel the a link in the back of my head from him but I blocked him out. Just for a little while.  

He then started to call me “Mia” he shouts, He sounded annoyed and angry with a little hurt in his voice.  I see Jake walk out to see what was happening with Oscar. They started to talk I couldn’t quite hear them from where I was sitting. I waited for a little while for them to go to get down. I started to walk back hoping I would get to my room without bumping into my mate or Oscar.  

I get to my room in one piece without any incident. I sit on my bed and started to cry, so much. The idea of not wanting to lose Oscar hurt more then anything. I already made up my mind about rejecting my mate for Oscar before he even showed up. Crying more and more I hear the door open and a pair of arms around me. “Little wolf talk to me” Oscar says in my ear. “ I love you” I say to Oscar in small sobs, turns me around and wipes my face. “I love you too little wolf” he kisses my forehead. 

“I need to tell you something” he nods and waits for me to continue “that Alpha......” I sob more. “What one a few have come in” smiling down at me. “The first one with the Luna” he makes me sit down and sits between my feet. “ what about him” he looks at me. “He is my mate” hating the words that come out of my mouth as I say them. He sits back on his knees looking at his hands, he stands up and walks out. “Oscar” I shouted at him I follow him down the hall calling his name. He stops at his office door and takes me inside of the office.  “Sit” he demanded. I do as I am told and sit down. 

He sits down and looks at me, “what are you going to do” he said in a stern manner. I looked down and started to cry again “ don’t start that again” he says walking over and wiping the tears away.  “Am going to reject him, I don’t want him and I know he doesn’t want me” I look into the beautiful green eyes I see every night before I close my eyes. He smiles and nods. “Okay my little wolf if that’s what you want I will stand by you” Oscar then kisses me hard. Moaning into his mouth he breaks away from my lips. “Come we need to get ready for the party” he pulls me up and we walk to my room.
