Chapter 4

“ what’s happening, why are we falling”

Jasmine asked In a frightening voice

“I’m so scared “jack added even roofy barked loudly.

“ try to calm down everyone maybe it’s leading us to another part of the house,”

“Maybe ,”Richard added hopefully

“ how do you know jack scoffed removing his glasses.

“My palms are all sweaty.”

Finally they stopped falling and landed on their feet.

Roofy let a bark that was more like a whimper, jack clutched his stomach,” I think I’m gonna be sick”

“Umm “ this doesn’t look like the attic. I don’t think this is the attic, I don’t think were in the house at all.”

Jasmine shrieked with a grave expression on her face.

“ where are we?” Richard said looking around.

“ it’s very beautiful, I’ve never seen anything like it, they were in a field filled with different type of flowers, like a flowing field but this was different. They petals are glowing. There was some kind of energy around it. Like the one she felt when she was staring at that creepy old door. They skies weren’t blue it was just a rainbow colour. The air smelt so fresh and she just wanted to run into the field and dance in it. She’d never seen anything like this. There was a waterfall up ahead.

She looked at Richard, she could tell he was feeling uneasy. Jack looked like he would burst into tears at any minute.

“ hey guys let’s not panic... everything we’ll be okay”

Richard couldn’t believe what just happened “But how did we get here, I mean it doesn’t make sense, we entered the room and we fell, but how did we......”

He was cut short when jasmine asked

“ Did you hear that?”

“ hear what jack asked wide eyed”

“I didn’t hear anything “

They sound came again but like a vibration. The looked around but the couldn’t see anything.

“Oh God, what is that?!”,Jasmine shrieked.

“What? Where?!”

“I don’t understand what’s happening, what’s is that ?”Richard yelled

There was a big one eyed bug making its way toward them

“Oh God what do we do?”

“Run!

jasmine screamed again moving fast

“Run!”

The bug started making its way towards them as the sound attracted it

“To where?”

I don’t know, maybe we could hide there she screamed pointing toward the forest behind the water fall

They all ran into the field of flowers which was leading toward the water fall. The glowing petals didn’t help they only illuminated more light which helped the bug to know where they were.

Jasmine couldn’t believe what was happening. She just wanted to know what was behind the door. Not lead Richard, jack and roofy into this. So this was how she was going to celebrate her 20th birthday. By dying out here and no one would know. She looked at jack who was already in front with roofy. Richard was running beside as if he was protecting her

Or maybe she was wrong

she didn’t want to turn,She could feel that the big bug was right behind her. She slowly turned she was right. It seemed to be coming after her.

She didn’t have time to think of the reason because she tripped and fell hard.
