Trust me pt2

The roof. Chang-ho was staring out the roof at the dark blue sky, which was adorned by silver, luminescent speckles. The view was quite enchanting, The glittery glow of the many stars which illuminated the darkness of the sky made him feel warm. Made him feel safe. He could say he was at peace. He couldn't help but let himself drown in the peaceful and serene atmosphere that the night light breeze and shining pitch-blue curtains draped over the sky .  He felt free, like all his burdens and worries were just a mere memory of a short-lived nightmare. To be honest Chang-ho had never had the time to fully relax and spend some quality time just to himself. He wanted to remain like this forever unbothered and unseen .Chang-ho had always been self-conscious even though he had a bubbly personality he had always had some self-doubt and a constant voice at the back of his head telling him that he was worthless. Chang-ho just wanted to have a peaceful life, growing without a family made him become the responsible kid he was, but he'd always wished to have someone to lean on in times of trouble, but unfortunately for him that wasn't possible for him. Chang-ho had almost forgotten he wasn't alone until he felt another presence lying next to him on the soft sprawl of blankets. Haneul was staring up as well with a small smile hanging on his lips. "It's beautiful...isn't it" he asked Chang-ho who was slowly falling into a trance nodded a little before realizing that, Haneul wasn't looking at him so there was no way he could have caught that. He cleared his throat softly before vocalising his approval. "yeah...it's quite pretty To be honest Chang-ho could not recall how and when they had ended up in this rooftop hideout, he also didn't think he'd be able to find his way here by himself; he had left Haneul guide him to their destination without asking questions, nor actually paying attention to his surroundings. He could fairly remember making some turns into some corridors which he had never been to but that was it, he wouldn’t really as he had limited access to the many wings of the palace.  What he could remember clearly though was the warm feeling of Haneul's hand in his as throughout their walk the older guy had kept their hands interlocked in a firm grip, it kind of felt like a request for reassurance but then again Chang-ho might be mistaking. "I'm sorry" he heard Haneul whisper quietly Not knowing what to do Chang-ho opted to remain quiet. "I'm just...I'm just so frustrated " the older continued "I never meant to be this rude to you, It’s not your fault that I have some issues....just that every time I see you I get this annoying feeling and it won't go away.." His voice had faded towards the last sentence. Haneul combed a hand through his hair messing up the perfectly slicked hair which had  probably taken his stylist ages to put together. Chang-ho wasn't sure what to say, yes, he had given him the benefit of doubt and let him drag him here, but was Haneul Really hinting that he might actually have some feelings for him? Was he subtly confessing to him? 'Nah I'm delusional'  Chang-ho mentally scolded himself for letting his thoughts fly in those directions, he was a nobody and he was ugly , not to say that he was a freaking guy. He had to remind himself that he wasn't going to get played no more. Especially by Haneul who seemed to be a bit bipolar. ' That guy keeps changing like a chameleon 'He was so confused. Chang-ho didn't think that he could ever figure the prince out, not when he continued to switch his personality like it was nothing. He surely wasn't like Daichi ,Definitely not. Daichi was easy going, fun to talk to and had so many interesting things to share, he was also so handsome which Chang-ho definitely didn't mind and they also seemed to have some chemistry which made Chang-ho want to keep him close to him, even though he somewhat felt guilty for deciding to take advantage of his friend's good nature; but Chang-ho wanted to be selfish this time ,he wanted to focus on himself, feel happy and feel wanted, that was exactly he was aiming to achieve. Chang-ho slowly refocused on Haneul who was now looking at him furrowed eyebrows. He seemed to be in deep thought. "You know you're the first person I've ever brought here. Not even my closest friends know the existence of this place. It’s...it's my little secret place" Chang-ho who was catching up to what the other boy was saying hurriedly spoke "Oh, it's fine I won't tell nobody, I won't come here again ,well I don't even know how to make my way up her~ Haneul suddenly placed a gentle finger to his lips, successfully shutting him up before shaking his head with an amused grin on . OK. Chang-ho was officially confused. "I didn't mean it that way Channie" he said whilst letting out chuckle as he tried containing his laughter Chang-ho frowned thinking 'Channie?... What the Hell is going on? Since when does he call me that?' Haneul cleared his throat attempting finally to bury the urge of laughter "What I meant is, it can be yours from now on. Well...ours, I really enjoyed your company and I thought that we could do this again...Maybe, if you wanted to, I mean" Chang-ho was still lost but he hesitantly gave a nod implying he understood and he ...agreed ? He wasn't sure if he should seriously believe the older boy's words . Haneul relaxed as if a sudden weight had been lifted off his shoulders. "Good," he said smiling at the other. Chang-ho bit his lips nervously. This side of Haneul was so sweet ,but was it the real him? Should he actually fully trust him, should he give the man a chance? Could it be possible that they could actually become friends? Or....could they be more. 'Maybe...Maybe someday I'll be able to fully trust you' He thought to himself as he cautiously sent a small smile to the older guy.
