Chang-ho sat in the huge bed staring at the cream coloured walls of the foreign room pondering by himself. The events that transpired a few hours ago replayed in his head. Chang-ho never would have thought that people as important and a rich as the royal family could be living such drama and discord, it was quite amazing in some way. It showed that they were human in a way, and as humans people tend to have issues and problems which need to be solved and dealt with. They were not as happy and as perfect as everyone perceived this proved that they just as ordinary as any commoner in the nation. The dinner had been dismissed a few minutes after the discussion or rather argument that had taken place; Chang-ho thought that he would have been dismissed as well-being that he had literary no business with the family but to his surprise and shock he had been given a room of his own next to Daichi's room by his orders, with the excuse "in case I need company, you’ll be closer to reach " Chang-ho sighed before fully laying himself on the soft bedding. The truth is he was anxious yes, his room was next to Daichi but that meant that his room was directly in front of Haneul's, which was a big no no for him right now. He wanted to sneak out but the fear of getting caught by Haneul was too much, he didn't want to go through those cliché scenarios you see in the television where both characters open their door at the same time facing each other. He didn't think he could handle such a confrontation right now. So, Chang-ho spent the next two hours turning in his bed uncomfortably being bored to the bones. He was actually wishing to be back to the familiar walls of the kitchen and the laundry room, doing his usual familiar daily chores . After two hours of contemplation Chang-ho decided to finally make his way to the gardens ,praying that he'd be able to avoid any prying eyes. He calmly slid the door to his room open, waiting for any sound or any footsteps to be heard. Once he deemed it to be clear he tiptoed out in the large corridor gluing himself to the side walls in attempt to make his large frame less noticeable, which was usually a hard task for him to achieve as a teenager which such proportions.. Everything was going fine until Chang-ho had suddenly felt a rushing set of feet coming in his direction,Chang-ho panicked so he ducked behind the large red curtains hung a few feet from him. Chang-ho was surprised to find out a big glass terrace facing the front of the castle. To be honest Chang-ho was quite amazed, he could see the large golden doors which were protecting the residents of it from the outside world, he could see the palace guards standing at ease with surveillant eyes searching for any form of disturbance to eliminate. Chang-ho couldn't help but let everything sink in with his mouth wide open. Chang-ho had been out of the castle once and that was when not Haneul dragged him to his friend's road trip but Chang-ho had been too shy and uncomfortable to peek out of the vehicle when they were making their way out . So, it was no surprise that for Chang-ho, the front gates were like something ethereal to him being that he was always cooked up in this work premises at the back. Chang-ho who was immersed in the great view hadn't noticed the presence of someone else behind him so his reaction to the deep voice clearing his throat was justified. Chang-ho had jumped clutching his hands to his chest as his breathing increasingly sped up and his pupils widened out, his reaction was even more exaggerated when upon eye contact he realised that whoever had been standing behind him for who knows how long was none other than Haneul. Chang-ho's knees went weak causing him to stumble upon his feet as he tried to make a run for it, sadly he was too slow allowing the young prince to manhandle him into a side hug before commanding him . "stay" he said, in a surprisingly soft voice That felt like dejavu to Chang-ho only this time it was happening with Haneul and not Daichi Panicking he wiggled his way out of the older's embrace attempting to make a dash for it before the words of the prince made him stop. "wait...I've got something to show you" said Haneul hurriedly Chang-ho contemplated whether to stay or just bolt out "I want to show you something, I won't hurt you... " he continued "I promise you..." he trailed out Chang-ho had no idea why but something inside of him stirred making his fear dissipate .He gently turned around stepping closer to Haneul Sucking in a deep breath he replied "OK...just this once show me, I...I trust you" And with that Haneul smiled sweetly at Chang-ho which made his heart skip a few beats Haneul softly cradled his hands and took them close to his lips as he left a soft peck on each knuckle. 'He could do this' He thought 'He could trust him, just this once'
