Maliya POV
When he woke up I tried to stay as still as possible, I didn't want to anger him. I didn't want to see him. My body hurt, every inch of it ached as I laid in the bed. My knees were pressed against each other tightly as I slowly, oh so slowly tried to lift my body up. I got to my elbows until I felt weak and fell back into the mattress upsetting the bruises.
Slowly I looked over to the side of the bed to see the dark blue color of my favorite blanket. It was now in long shreds and covered in blood. I held a white sheet to my chest as I looked down to my only comfort and tried to act like I wasn't upset as I winced and let out a breathy grunt as pain filled my body. I could hear someone coming closer to the room and closed my eyes, hoping it wasn't Aeron.
