Carl called a briefing on Wednesday morning with DI Henry and his team.
‘Operations are putting together a task force to follow up Weir’s distribution list,’ said Carl. ‘The plan is to hit the two big ones in the morning and then round up the rest. They’re currently working out who is associated with each address, apart from the first two on the list. I’ll get Nigel to tell you what we know so far.’
‘Weir delivered most of the stuff to two addresses,’ said DC Beard. ‘Lisa did the maths. They represent eighty percent of the money.’
‘Where are these places?’ said DI Henry.
‘One is a warehouse in Northfield. Used to belong to Arthur Redmond. The current owner is Michael Riley, the same Michael Riley that owns half the nightclubs in the city.’
