Chapter Twenty-Eight
Harry sat at his desk preparing for Monday morning’s briefing. A pinging sound alerted him to the arrival of a new email. He clicked on the notification banner on his screen and opened the email from Dean Lang. A smile spread across his face as he read the contents.
He picked up his phone and called Acting Chief Inspector West.
‘Did you see Dean’s email, Boss?’
‘Yes,’ said Carl. ‘At least you know who you’re looking for now.’
‘Will you speak to the media, Boss, or do you want me to do that?’
‘Send me his photograph, Harry. I’ll front the media. You concentrate on finding him.’
‘Okay, Boss.’
