Chapter Twenty-Nine
A young lawyer from Carol and Associates turned up to represent Jack Swan and James Weir.
Harry decided they’d interview Jack Swan first.
‘Tell us about Tony Slade,’ said Harry.
‘That’s a name that takes me back a while,’ said Jack. ‘I used to work with him but that was before I went inside.’
‘Where was that?’
‘At the Merlin. We did security.’
‘Seen him recently?’
‘Nah,’ said Jack.
‘What about Mark Riley? Been in touch with him?’
‘Nah,’ said Jack. ‘I’ve stayed away from them since I got out. Not interested in going back there.’
‘Fair enough,’ said Harry. ‘How long have you known James Weir?’
Jack shrugged his shoulders. ‘I dunno. Maybe five years. I met him at the casino.’

‘Not that I recall.’
