FALL OF ASTERA(II)

It was evening time and Dwayne was just closing from the store. There were few customers due to the situation they were in so he decided to close early. He walked slowly,not in a hurry to get home.

As he walked,he saw the vehicles ploughing the road and smiled. The infection rate was reducing and people were already being allowed outside.

He got to a three way turning and crossed to the other side. He had seen a boutique and thought it was best to get Yu Yuan a dress. Something of her favorite brand...Dior.

He got inside and went through the array of clothes,then he picked one which he thought was going to suit her. He made his payment and left the shop.

He flagged down a taxi and got in,telling the driver his destination. They were still on the way when Dwayne felt a dark aura surfacing. He knew the aura,it belonged to Eerling.

"Can you please drive faster?" He asked the driver politely.

"No I can't. I can't exceed the speed limit" the driver replied,driving at his averagely fast pace. Dwayne's heart began to pound. He knew the driver had no idea why he told him to drive fast. If Eerling caught up with them,he would be gone while he might destroy.

Then an idea struck him and he put it to use.

"Please drive faster,one of the infected is after us" Dwayne lied.

Hearing that,the driver stepped on his accelerator and zoomed down the road rapidly. He didn't bother to look back but kept driving.

Dwayne relaxed when he didn't feel Eerling's aura anymore.

"I think we've lost him. I can't see the infected anymore" he told the driver who reduced the speed of the car.

"That's good" the driver replied. Dwayne frowned,he thought the driver only spoke Chinese because that was how he conversed with him when boarding the taxi.

"You know. You're such a good liar,Dwayne Sydney or should I say...THE DRAGON'S SOUL?" The driver said and turned around,revealing his scaly face.

It was then Dwayne realized he had been with Eerling all along. The driver himself was Eerling.

Immediately he realized that,he made to break the door and jump out but Eerling hit him with a ball of flames,hurling him backwards and breaking out of the car. The impact was Dwayne crashing on the floor,totally affected.

He managed to get up and saw an explosion. He held his ground and looked ahead.

He realized Eerling had blown the car up and was coming for him.

"You stupid son of a b***h" he cursed.

"Oh,I think you should tell that to your Mom you never knew." Eerling replied and as he advanced,his muscles rippled his shirt,revealing his already huge and scaly body. Gradually,he transformed into a Dragon but with a head.

"Let's dance" he told Dwayne and lurched forth. Dwayne jumped back,then rolled sideways,evading being crushed by Eerling's tail.

As he got up,he got hit by metal spikes which upon contact with his skin,melted.

He rushed towards Eerling and jumped,aiming a punch at the latter. Eerling turned and used his wings to wave Dwayne aside.

Dwayne got up and frowned. He ran towards Eerling and kicked his right fore heel. Then he jumped,aiming a heat filled punch at his scaly softer belly,causing him to yell in pain.

He rushed towards his tail and grabbed it. With raw and immense strength,he swung him forward,causing him to crash on the floor.

This created an impact that felt like an explosion.

He stood tall,thinking he had knocked Eerling unconscious. He walked to the latter's head,feeling a sudden thirst for blood. His vision became red and claws sprouted from his hands. He made to stab Eerling when the latter's other head grew and hit him with spikes. This time,they impaled him,sending him backwards. He rushed forwards and whacked Dwayne forward,causing the latter to crash against a wall. He ran into Dwayne on the wall,causing the spikes to dig deeper into his skin.

Then he grabbed him with his tail and placed him on the ground,towering above him. Dwayne struggled to move but he was pinned down by Eerling's leg.

"What do you want from me?" Dwayne asked after giving up on struggling.

"I don't know but I have this urge to kill you" Eerling replied.

"Then kill me" Dwayne dared.

Eerling wanted to but he paused.

"Why did you stop? Are you scared?" Dwayne dared.

"It's not that. I feel I could have a good use for you" he chuckled. Dwayne frowned,not understanding what Eerling just said.

"Oh,you're confused right? Well,don't be. It's all going to be clear soon" Eerling chuckled then punched his skull. Dwayne screamed loudly,feeling the impact. His skull wasn't crushed but he began to bleed.

"Damn you" he cursed.

"Just relax,you'll be mine now" Eerling calmed and began to cackle,louder and louder.

Alpha Alfred,Drake,Drex,AJ and Sallah all stood outside the mansion,awaiting Doom. It seemed foolish that they all had to go at once but they had no other options. There was no way to track Doom and stopping him would take a miracle but they had to try their best.

As expected,Doom appeared with Christine's arm in his grip.

Alfred and Sharon frowned,angry with the way she was handled by Doom.

"Mom" Sharon called and made to move closer but Doom stopped her.

"Do not take a step closer or else...she gets it" he warned.

"Honey,this is going to be over soon." Alfred yelled.

"I hope so" Christine replied.

"I don't have time for all of this shitty talk. Are you ready to talk now?" He asked Alfred. The latter looked down then at Doom.

He reasoned attacking but then,Doom was faster. He could just make a move at the speed of light and Christine was gone forever.

"Talk" he barked again yet Alfred was silent.

"It seems you wouldn't talk. I already came prepared" Doom chuckled and snapped his fingers.

The earth rumbled. At first it was slow but as the seconds passed,it increased and then,the ground tore open,revealing a pool of lava underneath.

"Talk now or I jump into the lava with her. I'll survive but she won't and I hope you know what that means" he said and laughed maniacally.

"Alfred,tell him what he wants" AJ yelled. Alpha Alfred still was deep in his thoughts. He had no option. He could not bear to lose his wife.

Doom already had two of his children and if he or his wife died,no one would be there to protect Sharon from the psychopath.

"I'll tell you okay. I can't tell you but I'll take you there" he agreed.

"Good. So,shall we?" He asked and brought his arm forth. The ground closed up.

"Alfred don't agree to this. He's using us" Christine protested but still,he refused.

"I'll take you there but drop my wife" he said. Doom chuckled and shook his head.

"Nay,I have to confirm the place first before releasing your wife so both of you would be following me." He said.

Alfred grit his teeth,angry.

"And also,it's only both of you I need no other people." He instructed. This only confirmed their suspicious but there wasn't a thing that could be done.

"Okay,let's go" Alfred said and took his hand.

"Follow my thoughts" he told him and shut his eyes.

Immediately,the image of the outskirt of Astera clouded his mind and Doom made to teleport. Then he faced the remaining and did a s*******r sign.

"Nooooo!" Sharon yelled but it was too late...they had teleported away from there.

For minutes,everyone kept mute. What had just happened struck all of them and they though of what would happen to both of them. They wondered how life was for Sharon and how she would manage.

Drake and Drex sat beside her,each placing an arm on her shoulders.

"It's okay,we're with you" they consoled,slightly shaking her.

"Yeah,they'll be fine. I'm sure Abel would save them" she sighed then got up.

"Um guys,are you sensing this?" Sallah called. They all got up and felt a creepy and tickling kind of aura.

"What the hell is happening?" Drake asked.

"I have only three guesses. Soul eaters,Reptilians or...Shadow walkers" AJ gasped and pointed behind Drake.

"What?" He asked.

"Shadow Walker" she replied and lurched a liquid whip at him. He dodged in the nick of time and the whip wrapped around the invincible creature. She tightened her grip and it became visible.

The creature was a brown,skinny one with sharp dentition and its bones protruded from every joint.

"Eew" Drake said in disgust.

Sallah wasted no time in removing his scythe and decapitating the creature.

The team huddled together as they felt more of the same tickling aura hit them. They could fight but they couldn't see them and that was a disadvantage.

"So AJ,why are they called shadow walkers?" Drake asked.

"First,they are invincible in every aspect,save for the tickling aura. Then,they have this cunning ability that gives them the name. They can tear away from their shadows and move. Their weakness is that their shadows are always around but might be in an awkward position like this" she explained,pointing at a slightly fading shadow.

Sallah turned and raised his scythe in the air,causing it to rip another shadow walker into halves.

"How do we stop them?" Sharon asked.

"They like attacking from above. So,fight from above. Also,any direction you feel their aura coming from or you see their shadow,is the opposite of where they are" Sallah explained and jumped,swinging his scythe,then visible shadow walker heads and bodies fell on the floor.

"This is the weirdest fight ever" Drex said and lurched right,grabbing a shadow Walker's head,crushing it.

"But they seem harmless" Drake said.

"Yes they seem so but still,they are dangerous if you let them get to you" AJ warned and sped forward,knocking two shadow walkers down.

She quickly crushed both before they could escape and crouched feeling exhausted. She had never felt exhausted like that in a small fight but that was happening.

"What is wrong with me?" She asked.

"Watch out" Drake yelled and sped towards her,pulling her away from the spot which got crushed by a huge foot.

The impact caused the earth to rumble wildly and caused some parts of the Mansion to collapse.

After a few minutes,everything settled and they looked ahead. They gasped,seeing the back of a 15foot tall giant.

"What the hell?" Drake asked,clutching to AJ's waist,with her back to his chest.

"f**k off p*****t" she sneered and pushed him off.

"What is that?" Drex asked.

"A Titan"

Doom,Alpha Alfred and Christine appeared in a dessert. They were already on the outskirts of Astera which was only a mile away and they could see it. Alfred frowned. He knew he had betrayed his kingdom but he had no choice.

"You have what you want now" he told Doom who chuckled.

"Oh yes I have" the latter replied and released his grip on Christine's shoulder.

"Are you alright sweetheart?" He asked her and embraced her.

"Yes. Let's just get out of here" Christine replied and made to teleport out of there but she couldn't.

"What is happening?" She asked.

"What did you do Doom?" Alfred inquired.

"Nothing much. But do you think I'm stupid? Do you think I don't know that there is a barrier surrounding Astera?" He asked,furious.

"But you have already gotten here. Breaking the barrier would be easy for you being a Multibreed" he replied.

"Yes I know but that isn't what I'm after" Doom replied.

"What do you mean?"

"I already told you. It isn't as simple as that,you both are the perfect scape goats for this mission" he told them.

"What do you mean by SCAPE GOATS?" Christine asked.

"It's simple. I get there,they see me and freak out but not without them realizing you brought me here. They'll turn their rage on you and I leave,then I return and BOOM...Astera falls." He explained.

They both already had a hint of the plan but they could not escape. For some reason,they could not leave and that had trapped them. They had only one option...to fight him.

"Doom" Christine called.

"Yes,my beloved scape goats?"

"Rather than be used by a psychopath like you,we prefer dying while fighting against you." Alfred continued.

Doom frowned,then smiled again.

"I was expecting this" he laughed and crouched. His muscles ripped his garment off and he began his transformation.

At first,his head turned to a Lycantrophe's. His body frame as huge as a Titan's and lastly,the feet of a reptile.

"We end this now"
