(Sequel to "Dancing with the devil" by Y. Pownkumar. Please read " Dancing with the devil" first before reading "Making the devil dance" in order to fully understand and enjoy the novel.)

DANE'S P. O. V

"Mia, please just listen to me" I said as my heart pounded against my chest. "Why should I listen to you? You lied and hid so many secrets." she said inbetween her sobs as she packed her bags. " Mia he is not good for you. He will hurt you!" I said as fear grew inside of me. "He is not good for me? He would hurt me? In the same way that you sucked all happiness from your wife until she became so empty that she took her own life. You were my king dad, until he told me what you really are. Now I know that you are a devil and I would not spend another moment in your presence" said Mia as she zipped her suitcase and headed towards the door. "Mia! Please believe me, I see it in his eyes, he has no goodness in him. Please Mia!" I yelled behind her as I followed he to the door, yet I couldn't stop her from leaving.

PART 1:OH HAPPY DAYS
DANE’S P.O.V “Mia baby, are you ready to go? Your graduation is about to begin and if we don’t leave now then we will definitely be late.” I yelled out as I paced back and forth in entrance room of our home. “Mia?!!!” I yelled again after a few minutes have passed. “If you don’t come down now, I will be happy to go your graduation without you. I will even take your certificate and re-print my name on it” I said as I grew impatient and restless. “Dad, can you just chill? I’m coming” she said as she bounced down the stairs. The most beautiful smile, worn on her face as she was amused by my words. Her brown curls complimented the movement of her feet. Her eyes filled with kindness, love and everything pure as she grew to be a splitting image of Jeena. In fact, they looked so much a like that at times I forget that she is not our own and as for my Mia the first 5 years of her life washed away from her memories and she grew to believe that the women in the portrait, the women she looks so much like is her real mother and I her real father. I never had the heart to tell her the truth and honestly I don’t see a reason too. “Do you really think that I would let you collect my certificate dad?” she asked, still amused. “Not really, but I deserve it” I said. “Nah-uh, I earned it” she said holding her head up high as we walked towards the garage. “Well I should get something for being the best father in the world” I praised myself. “Like a certificate?” she asked. “Yes, exactly” I said with a smirk. “Dad not even a trophy would do justice for that. In fact no gift would” she said, her words were real and full of emotion as they filled my heart due to the love and appreciation that shone bright in her eyes. " Can I drive?" she asked, looking cute. "Nice try, princess. Not happening!" I said and got into the driver seat. "but why?" she said, standing out outside the car, stamping her feet and throwing a little tantrum. "because I want to arrive alive. Now get in the car or we will be late" I ordered and she obeyed, not wasting another minute as we were running out of time. "Can I drive back?" she asked as I drove us to the graduation venue. "You do know that this car cost me more than I spent bringing you up, right? This car is my real baby" I said with a smirk. "Can't wait to smash it" she mumbled. "What was that?" I asked, amused at how jealous she can get over such a small joke. "Nothing" she said loudly. "I'm going to smash your stupid baby into little metal pieces" she mumbled again under her breath and I burst out in laughter. "Ahhhh... My little 18 year old baby is jealous" I teased. "Dad!!!" she said in a serious tone. "I love you and you are a great father but you are very, very immature. You are playing with my emotions" she said, in frustration. "Okay, okay I'm sorry. I'm just joking. You know that nothing means more to me than you. I can give up all these materialistic things for you Mia" I explained. "I know dad and that's why you mean the world to me. There's no one I would ever love more than you. As my father, you will always come first" she said, making my heart smile. "Oh yeah, but one day when you meet a handsome young man, who steals your heart then I won't come first neither would I be the person that you love the most anymore" I said, jokingly. "Dad you are really immature. You say such insensible things at times" she said and we both laughed. ...... MIA'S P. O. V "MIA MATTEO" they announced my name and the crowded cheered as I went on stage. Everyone loved me... Well not so much me but my father's money. My father had money, lots of it and with money he had power but I was his pride. I could feel all eyes on me, including my father's as his happiness radiated of him, filling the air like a strong perfume. His eyes was set on me, his pride and joy made him proud once again today, as everything I do, I do it for him... But my eyes didn't meet his as my eyes was once again intoxicated by the sky blue one's that just entered the hall. "He came" said my best friend Troy as he nudged me, when I got off the stage. Troy was a few years younger than me but he was the always by my side, he kept my secrets as I have kept his and we have like a million things in common, accept for our gender preference. Another pro was that he was uncle Trey's and aunty Lexi's son, which means that Troy and I got to hang out whenever and wherever as our parents trusted the sibling bond that they have created for us. But, the biggest pro of all was that having Troy as my best friend, I didn't have to worry about him flirting with my dad like my other female friends did, which made me sick. "I see" I said, not breaking my eye-contact with blue eyes. "No, you stare" he said and laughed as I realised that I actually was staring. "Yes, I stare and I love" I said, a deep blush growing on my cheeks. "I can't believe he came" I said in happiness. "Why wouldn't he, he has always been around you since like forever. So why wouldn't he come for his kitten's graduation?" Troy asked sarcastically. But, I didn't answer, I was too mesmerized by the sky blue eyes, pink lips, perfectly styled hair, chiselled features and muscular body of Xavier Knight, ceo and owner of the Knight industries. My lover, my life and my biggest secret. His lips turned into a small smile, which had my heart doing summersaults but yet he kept his distance. "He is making his way towards us" said Troy. "No, he is still standing there. How can someone honestly be so beautiful?" I asked rhetorically. “Mia, stop staring he will notice, he is almost here” said Troy , panic in his voice. “Troy he is standing in the same spot looking like a model out of a Guess magazine.” I said, not breaking my eye contact with those sky blue eyes. "Mia, your father is coming here!" said Troy. "Oh s**t! why didn't you tell me?" I asked as I began to panic. "I did" said Troy. "When??" I asked, the both of us panicking. "Just now" he said. "Do you think that he noticed me looking at Xavier?" I asked, but Troy had no time to answer as my father was standing in front of us. "Congratulations, baby girl" he said as he gave me a hug and a peck on the cheek. " Thank you dad, couldn't have done it without you" I said. "No, don't ever say that. You can do anything because you are an independent young child" he said with a smirk. "You seem to be the child, I'm more mature than you are" I said, in anger after hearing the word 'child'. "Well, we can stand here and argue or we can go and check out your graduation gift" said my dad. "Graduation gift? let's go!!!" I said in excitement. "Okay child" he said and led Troy and I out of the hall. I didn't bother about him calling me child this time, because honestly I was acting like one. "Surprise! " he said, as we entered our yard, in which a brand new slick grey Porsche that awaited me. "A car? For me? You bought me a car? You brought a car for me? I got a car?" I couldn't stop speaking with all the shock and excitement which I felt. "Yes my angel. Now, you can stop nagging me to drive mine" he said. "THANK YOU!!!" I said as I jumped into his arms and hugged him, tears blurring my vision. " Are you crying? Do you not like it?" asked my dad, in concern. "No dad, it's not that. It's just that you do so much for me. You have been a single father for as long as I can remember but not once did you let me miss mum. I- I - I'm so lucky to have you as a father. I must have done a lot of good deeds in my past life to be born as your daughter" I said and my tears kept rolling out of my eyes, but they were gently brushed away from my cheek with my dad fingers. "Mia, I'm the lucky one to have you as a daughter. You have no idea what you have done for me. Mia you revived me and gave me a second chance to be a good person. I love you so, so much my baby girl. But now is not the time for tears my dear girl, now is the time to take this beast for a spin!" he said, the last part full of excitement as he handed me the keys. I got into the car and turned on the engine" Are you coming?" I stuck my head out of the window and asked my father. "No, I already had my fun with it" he said smirking as he earned a playful glare from me. "But Troy should go with you" he added and Troy got into the seat next to me, following my father's order. "Be careful and don't drive too fast. Be home by 6 and not a minute later and if anything happens call the ambulance and then me. I love you. Did I tell you to be safe?" he yelled as I rolled the Porsche towards the exit of out manor. "Dad, I'm 18. I'll be home after 8. I love you more" I yelled back as I exited. As soon as the car was out of our manor and out of my dad's sight, I hit on the accelerator making Troy hold onto his seat. "So, where are we going?" he asked, fear of my driving full in his voice. "Take a guess" I said as I headed to my destination.... Copyright All rights reserved
