I am really enjoying spending time with Rose. She is so funny, and it is so nice just being able to talk and get to know her. We sat and watched four different Disney movies. She was really enjoying them, but I could also tell she was getting tired. She curled up next to me on the couch and rested her head on my shoulder. I stayed very still because I did not want to scare her. She is so beautiful. How could someone be so cruel to her? She looks so sweet and innocent. It should not matter if she had a wolf or a scent. They were cruel to a child. I am going to find out which pack it was, and I will make sure to make them pay for everything they did to her. They will not get away with it. And I better not find out I have an alliance with them, or it will be even worse for them. I will make sure to let everyone I have an alliance with know what they did to a child and inform them that I will not have an alliance with anyone that will still do business with a pack like that. They will lose multiple alliances, I am sure. No one wants to go against me. My pack is one of the strongest in this region. I did receive a lot of backlash at first when I chose to accept scentless and wolfless members. But I was not about to let them become rogues and potentially be killed in the wild. They needed a place that was safe, and I could offer that to them. Honestly, that is how I gained most of my pack members. And it turns out most of the wolfless members were just late bloomers and did have wolves. They all carry special abilities as well. So my pack became the strongest in the area. I get daily requests from new members. I am constantly trying to make sure I have homes or rooms for them all. It is a lot of work, though for me, I will be glad to have help finally. She is going to make a great Luna. I know she will. And my mom will be there to help her with anything she will need to know. I look over at her, and she is sound asleep on my shoulder now. I carefully move so I can pick her up without waking her and slowly walk to her room. I opened the door and headed to bed. I lay her down and covered her with a blanket. “You don’t ever need to worry about anyone hurting you ever again, Rose. I will make sure of it. You will be safe here no matter what. I will always be here for you.” I kissed the top of her head and then headed out and softly closed her bedroom door. It is late so I don’t think I am going to go back to the office tonight, so I will just head to my room to get some sleep as well. It was nice spending time with my mate. I can not wait to announce her to the pack. Maybe I can do that tomorrow if she is alright with it…
I wake up in the morning to the smell of bacon and eggs. I get up and head to the bathroom to do my business and then pull on a shirt. I normally only sleep in my shorts and I do not want to freak out Rose. I step out of my room and head to the kitchen. I see Rose standing over the stove, and she is making eggs and bacon. It looks like she has sausage out as well and maybe some potatoes? “Good morning sunshine. Did you sleep well?” She turns around, startled, then smiles when she notices me, “Good morning Hudson. I slept very well, thank you. How did you sleep? And how did I get into my room last night?” I smiled at her and walked over to the coffee pot to get a cup of coffee, “I carried you to your room. I figured you would be more comfortable sleeping in your bed rather than sleeping on the couch last night. You fell asleep after the last movie, so I just thought I would put you to bed.” She blushes a little, “I am so sorry that I fell asleep with you. And thank you for putting me to bed. That was very thoughtful of you.” “Well, thank you for making me breakfast. You did not have to do all that. I could have gone down to the dining room and had breakfast with the pack. I appreciate you making it though. It smells amazing.” She smiles at me, “I wanted to make it for you. I figured this would be the first of many thank you’s to you for bringing me to your pack and accepting me as your mate. I am very happy to be here already, and it has only been a day haha.” “Good, I am glad you are already so happy here. And, of course, I accept you as my mate. You are everything I could have ever hoped for in a mate, honestly. Beautiful, smart, funny, sweet. Just perfect. Did you want me to show you around the pack today? Are you feeling up to that?” “I would like that very much. Maybe I can meet more of the ranked members and some of the pack as well. I think I would like to have lunch in the dining room so I can meet more members. I thought about you introducing me to the pack and I think today would probably be the best time to do it so they are not wondering why I am staying in the Alpha suite and trying to figure out who i am haha.” “Oh good, I was hoping you would be alright with me introducing you today, actually. I will let my mom know, and she can set something up for lunch so I can introduce you then. I know the other ranked members are really excited about meeting you. I was talking to the guys in the office yesterday, and they all said their mates are looking forward to it. They wanted to come up yesterday, but I figured you would want to just relax and get settled, so I asked them not to bother you yet. I know they will be very happy to get to meet you today though.” She smiles and laughs, “Well, I am excited about meeting them as well.” She sets up two plates of food and brings them over to the table. I headed over and pulled her chair out for her and sat down next to her. I can not wait to be able to do this everyday for the rest of our lives. She is the perfect mate for me in every way. Now to let the guys know they are meeting her today and to tell them to be on their best behavior haha.
