I am so happy. I found her. I found my Luna. She is perfect. Beautiful and angelic looking. She definitely needs to eat more, she probably has been living off only what she can find here, but that will change when we get back to the pack. My mom is going to go crazy fawning over her and making sure she has everything she needs. My mom always wanted a daughter but never got the chance. She had me and that was it. She had too many complications when she had me, which is not unheard of but very rare, and was not able to have any more pups after that. She never treated me badly though and loved me so much. She has been waiting anxiously for me to find my mate though. She is going to spoil my mate rotten, that is for sure. “So, Rose, just to let you know in advance, my mom is probably going to be extremely excited to meet you, and she will probably give you a bone-crushing hug. She had always wanted a daughter, but some complications made it so she couldn’t have more pups, so all she had was me. She has been waiting a long time for me to find my mate so she is going to be very happy to meet you.” We cross the stream and head through the forest to a clearing. As soon as we got to the clearing, I turned to look at her, “Can you shift? It will be faster to get back to the pack house if we shift and run there. If not, it might take a few hours to get there.” “Umm, yes, I can shift. But do not freak out when you see my wolf. Ok? She said it is safe to shift with you, she trusts you.” I smiled at her and promised I would not freak out. She steps back away from me and shifts into the most amazingly beautiful wolf I have ever seen. She is a very rare color. I have never seen a wolf like her before. “You are absolutely beautiful. I have never seen a wolf like you before. You must be very special.” Her wolf purrs at me and I smile. I step back a little and shift into my wolf, Loki. They circle each other sniffing and wagging their tails and then Loki yips, and they start chasing each other back to the pack. I had already linked my warriors to not be alarmed by the wolf that I was bringing with me. I have not informed them she was my mate yet, but I will make that announcement at dinner tonight. Loki led his mate up to the pack house and my mom was waiting on the steps with clothing for me and Rose. Thank the Goddess to my mom for thinking ahead and bringing clothing for my mate as well. She was smiling as we approached. She slowly walks forward and Rose’s wolf backs up a little and sits watching my mother cautiously. My mom slowly walks up to her and quietly says, “Hello my dear, I promise I will not hurt you. I am Hudson’s mother. I brought you some clothes to put on when you shift back. I am just going to set them down here for you, then I will back away again, alright?” Rose’s wolf looks at her, then wags her tail a little and licks my mom's face. I had already shifted back so I laughed at the startled look on my mom’s face. She smiles and pats Rose’s wolf softly on the head and backs up so she can shift back. She shifts back and dresses quickly, then shyly walks over to me and my mom. “Hello ma’am. It is nice to meet you, I am sorry for my wolf doing that…” “Oh dear, it is quite alright. I am so happy to meet you. Hudson said he had found his mate, and you are just so beautiful. I am so happy to welcome you into this family. I have always wanted a daughter, but unfortunately I was not able to have one. Now I have you! This is so exciting. Come dear, let me show you to your room. Hudson was nice enough to let you have your own room in his suite while you get more comfortable here.” She smiles at my mom, then smiles at me. My mom takes her by the hand, and they walk in with my mom chatting away to her. Yup, I knew my mom was going to be really happy about this haha. Now I just need to call the guys together and let them all know about her. ‘Jasper, Feran, Rowan, Dad. Can I have you all come up to the Alpha office? I have some news to share.’ They all respond, and I head up to my office smiling. I am just so happy to have found her. I can not wait to let them know. I will give her some time to settle in before we start discussing the Luna ceremony. I do not want to rush her and scare her off. I get into my office and sit behind my desk just as the guys walk in. “Hey guys. I have some news.” I am smiling at all of them, and they all sit down and look at me funny. “What’s up, man?” “Yeah, what's the big news?” I looked at all of them, still smiling, “I found my mate. And she is also scentless, but we can smell each other’s scents. It’s weird. I have no idea how. She said I smell like roasted marshmallows. And she smells like fresh strawberries to me. It is strange, I think it is because we are mates. I guess we will find out though. Anyway, mom took her up to my suite and is showing her the room she will stay in until she is more comfortable. I am not going to start planning a Luna ceremony yet because I do not want to scare her. I do not know much about her except that she ran from her last pack. She said she was a slave there. She has been on her own for years, it seems. And her wolf is as large as an Alpha wolf, she is also a very rare color. Purple and blue swirled. She looks amazing. I wanted you all to be the first to know. Besides mom, of course. I mean I had to tell her first. I knew she would be excited and help her to settle into the pack easier.” They all looked stunned and then smiled at me. “Congratulations, man! That is great news!” “Yeah, that’s awesome, Hudson, I am so happy for you!” “Congratulations, son. This is wonderful. Your mother is very happy. She has been linking me since you showed back up. She is making sure your mate is very comfortable and is asking what she likes to eat and making sure the kitchen staff know what to make for her haha.” I smiled at dad, I knew mom would be so happy that I had found her. And I knew mom would make sure she was well taken care of. We all sit and chat for a while longer. I want to try to figure out the best way to introduce her to the pack. I know that there will be a few she-wolves that are going to be very unhappy about me finding my mate. Especially one… I will have to make sure to keep an eye on that so that no one does anything to my mate. I want to keep her safe while she is here and make sure she gets training so she can protect herself. I think that what we will work on first is her training and, as she gets comfortable here, then we will talk about setting up her Luna ceremony. I am so happy to have found her. This has really made my day.
