Hudson’s mom is so sweet. I feel comfortable around her even though I just met her. I am still nervous about being in this pack because of my last experience with a pack, but I guess I will have to learn. And Hudson did say that this pack was different, and they accepted wolves that are different and scentless. So we will see what happens. Sapphire is comfortable here as well. We are just chatting away as she takes me to my room in the Alpha suite. She is doing most of the talking haha. But she is explaining where everything is and on what floor as we walk up the stairs. There is so much in this pack house it is crazy. Much nicer than what I can remember of the pack I ran from. But anything is going to be nicer than that pack. They were trash, so their pack was trash. I wonder how they are doing honestly. Because I doubt they are still running a good pack with how they treated me, but I think at this point the son has probably taken over. He was a few years older than me, so he is probably Alpha now. He was worse than his parents, so he probably ran that pack into the ground. Not really my problem now though, and has not been my problem for years. I do feel bad for some of the pack though. Not all of them were awful. Some were absolutely horrible though… We get to the Alpha suite and she opens the door. I am in shock. I have never seen anything that looks as amazing as this. “So, this is where you two will stay. You will have your own room here until you are comfortable sharing a room with Hudson. He does not want to rush you since you have been on your own for so long. He wants to make sure you are comfortable with everything first.” I smile at her, “Thank you. I appreciate that so much. I have not been in a pack in a long, long time.” She looks at me, “You do not need to talk about it yet if you are not comfortable with it. I will not push you and I know no one else will either. You can talk about it when you are ready, sweetheart.” I smiled at her, “I might share my story in time. It is a long one. But I will tell you that the last few years have been wonderful. Once I was free from the pack that I had been brought to…” She smiles back at me, “I am glad you had a wonderful last few years and I hope that the rest of your years are just as wonderful here. We will all do everything we can to make sure that you are comfortable and happy here. You are family now. And we take care of each other. I hope that you will come to think of this pack as home and even though I am not your mom and could never replace her, I do hope that one day you will think of me as your second mom, or bonus mom. As I said, I have always wanted a daughter and I am very happy you are here. I would never want to replace your mother, but I would love to be able to spend time with you as a mother figure. Anything you might need at all, I will be here for you. If you have any questions, the other ranked ladies will also be there to help you. They are very excited about meeting you, by the way. But we do not want to overwhelm you. So you can meet them when you are ready. I have already let them know not to disturb you and to let you get settled before they bombard you with questions haha.” “Thank you for that. I am actually kind of tired. It has been a long day.” “I understand, dear. We have some clothing in the closet for you. Hudson let me know about you, and so I had some of the omegas go with our ranked ladies, and they picked out some comfortable clothes for you for now. I figure we can go shopping for other things you will need later on. There is a bathroom off the bedroom for you and the closet is next to that. You go get comfortable and get some rest. Hudson will be having the omegas bring food up for you both later on, and I have asked that they fill the fridge for you so you have snacks and drinks available if you want them. If there is anything you specifically might want, just have Hudson ask and they can bring it up for you. And before you ask, we treat everyone with respect here. No one is treated as less, or as a slave in this pack. They are all paid for their work and all live in comfortable homes or rooms in a pack house. I do not know what kind of pack you came from, but we treat everyone the same here. We do not look down on our members just because we are of a higher rank.” That’s good to know, I nod and smile at her, and she hugs me again before heading out. I will need to get used to that, I guess. I have not been hugged in a long, long time. And I think I would actually like to call her mom, actually. I never really knew my mother, but I do not think she would mind it if i did that. I have craved a mother’s love and a family for a long time, and finally I can have one. I do not know if I am comfortable enough to go down and meet everyone yet, so I am grateful that Hudson will be bringing food up here and that his mother is having them bring snacks and drinks to the suite as well. I look around the room again. It is very lavish. Much larger than the treehouse that I have been living in for the last couple of years. I head to the first door and open it to the bathroom. It is covered in white and black marble. Very expensive looking. I am most excited about the large jacuzzi tub though. It has been a long time since I have had a nice soak in a real tub and not just the stream. It looks like they thought of everything as well, because there is so many skincare and bath products in this bathroom. I have no idea what to do with them all. I look at everything and smell it. Smells amazing. I grab some of the lavender bubble bath and Epsom salts and turn the tub on, adding some of both to the water. It starts filling up and the bathroom smells amazing. I can not wait to soak in there. I think I could get used to this. We will see though.
