“Breath. Don’t let him know that he still effects you. Just relax and make him demand your attention.” Sébastien’s hot, moist breath tickled Angela’s neck making her shiver.
She could smell Sébastien’s cologne as he lingered close to her. He smelled like campfires and hot chocolate. She couldn’t help but wonder if he tasted as good as he smelled. When he sat back he took the warmth from the room with him. Angela smiled at him from over her shoulder and leaned back so they were face to face. It shocked her how natural it felt being with him like this. “And what makes you think he will?”
He shrugged. “He’d be an i***t not to.”
Allen cleared his throat. “Angela.”
Angela turned from Sébastien plastering on her best customer service smile. ‘”Allen. Hi.”
Allen glared at Sébastien. “Hi. I never expected to see you here.”
Angela laughed. “You never expected to see me at the restaurant I introduced you to. The restaurant I worked at since high school, who’s owners you know are like a second family to me?” Angela brows kitted together.
“No, that’s not what I meant. I just…”
“I know what you meant and that just proves how little you actually know me.” The look of pity Jasmine had been giving her as she clung to Allen annoyed her, but when she brushed her DD’s against his arm moving her shirt to show even more cleavage while she undressed Sébastien with her eyes made her blood boil. Angela looked at Sébastien to see him watching her intently “I’m sorry. Where are my manners. Sébastien this is my ex boyfriend Allen Greyson.” Angela could have sworn she heard Sébastien growl before covering it with a cough. “And this,” she waved a hand toward Jasmine, “Is Jasmine De La Rou.” Angela waved toward Sébastien with a smile on her face. “This is my boyfriend Sébastien.” Angela looked back at Sébastien pleading with her eyes.
He pulled her closer to him, almost possessively, smiling at her.
Angela felt her face flush as his hand brushed her shoulder and his thumb slid under the material of her cut off sleeve to rub her shoulder where her bra strap should be. She watched Jasmine’s smile fade as her mouth dropped open. She could see Allen’s look of hurt quickly replaced by anger. He ground his teeth and the vein in his neck started to throb like it did whenever he was really upset. “Nice to meet you.” He held out his had toward Sébastien glaring at him.
Sébastien stood up taking Allen’s hand, glaring back and smirking. He stood a good 6 inches taller than Allen and had at least 80lbs of muscle on him. “Same.” He turned to Angela. “I’m going to go pay, then we can go.” He leaned down swallowing any complaints she had as he claimed her mouth, delightfully teasing her tongue with his own.
Angela’s eyes automatically closed meeting his demand and demanding more in return. ‘By gods he tasted even better than he smelled, and he knows exactly what he’s doing.’ She thought running her hands up his chest to his shoulders. She felt drunk from the kiss when he pulled away to nuzzle her neck. Her breath was quickening and she almost moaned when his hand came up cradling her neck, his thumb caressing her cheek. She leaned into his hand giving him more access to her neck.
He spoke so only she could hear as he came up to nibble at her ear. “You owe me for this, and I intend to collect.” He pulled away kissing her cheek and taking all the air in the room with him.
She pulled in a shaky breath feeling like she had just been splashed with cold water. What the heck had she just gotten herself into? She thought as she nodded at him, not trusting her voice to not announce how turned on she was from just a kiss. She watched as he turned and walked over to Jen to pay. She couldn’t take her eyes off the man built to look like a god. She felt like she was back in high school, only this time she was going with him. Even if it was just to pay him back for helping her out of an awkward situation she couldn’t help the smile at the thought of spending time with him and hopefully getting to know more about the man he had become.
“Angela.” Allen snapped.
Angela slowly looked toward him. “Did you say something?”
“Yes.” He huffed. “I asked if you really thought it was such a great idea to jump into another man’s bed so soon after we broke up?”
“Excuse me?” Angela stood up poking Allen in the chest. “Let me make one thing clear. It’s been months since we broke up.” She poked him again. “And you do not get to make any judgements about me being with other men when,” She stepped forward poking him harder and making him back up, “You decided to hop into another woman’s bed,” She looked at Jasmine before turning back on him, “Or should I say my bed with my best friend,” She took another step, “While we were still together.” She pulled herself back and released a deep breath. “If you have thoughts or comments on me or my life keep them to yourself. You both lost the right to have any part of it when you betrayed me.”
“I think it is time you leave.” Donny said walking up. "Now!"
“I’m sorry Donny. Don’t worry. I’m going.” Angela signed looking around at all the guests looking at her causing a scene.
“Not you.” He placed a hand on Jasmine and Allen’s shoulders. “You’re not welcome here anymore.”
“But we didn’t…” Jasmine started to whine.
“You think after what you two did to our Angela you would be welcome in our restaurant?” Jen stepped up behind Donny. “There’s the door. Don’t let it hit you where the good lord split you and never let me see you walk through it again.”
Jasmine huffed, “Well I never liked this trashy little place anyway. Come on Allen, lets go.”
Allen followed her out like a dog with a tail between his legs.
“That jerk, what made him think he could show his face around here after doing that to you?” Donny looked back and Angela. “You okay?”
Angela was about to cry when Jen wrapped her arms around her. “I love you guys.”
“Oh hush now.” Jen rubbed her back. “They're not worth it.” Jen pulled back. “Besides, I do believe you have a very handsome man waiting outside on a motorcycle for you.”
The color drained from Angela’s face. “Motorcycle?”
