Chapter Twelve

Adam's POV

Here we are in my last school year as a senior, and I'm going to make this year epic.I have one goal and one goal only. That is to find out who is the daughter of this Beta David from Saphire Blue Moon pack. I have a plan which my father doesn't know about, because he will not agree with it. He has me running the pack like I'm the Alpha already. All I have to do is show him that I am a good leader and warrior for our people and can handle all the work that comes with it. So far it has been good.

With the help of my friends Ethan and Christopher, this should be easy.

"Hey Adam, I think I found what you are looking for."

"What is that, Ethan, since you think you know it all?"

"I found out who are the people of Saphire Blue Moon."

"Is that so, and how sure are you about this?"

"Well, I'm not that sure, but guessing about her popularity, she has to be someone important in her pack."

"Don't approach her. I will, in the mean time, keep your eyes open for everyone else."

Interesting, I need to know for sure. If she was the daughter of the Alpha , it would be easy. I just thought that he had a son. I will just have to ask my father to verify it.

"Well, hello little one, who might you be?"

"I know who I am, but who might you be?"

"My name is Adam beautiful, future Alpha of the Half Moon Pack."

"I'm Sharlot, daughter of Beta David of Saphire Blue Moon Pack."

"Well, Sharlot, you are one gorgeous wolf. Would like to see you after school today to get to know you better."

"Sure, I'll see you then."

This is what I was not expecting, but she will do. She looks beautiful for sure. I wonder if Ethan or Christopher found out anything else.

"Hey Ethan, have you found out any new for me?"

"All I have seen is that girl seems to be friends with a string-bean looking nerd, besides the other girls she was with."

"What about Christopher? Have you spoken to him?"

"No, not yet."

"Alright, don't worry about it. I'll call him and find out."

He probably took off with one of the new girls he met today.

"Chridtopher? What are you up to, man? I have been looking for you all day. What have you found out?"

"Nothing much, just a few omegas and a group of girls that are well known. Not heard a word of their future Alpha."

"Could it be a possibility that it was not a son he had but a daughter?"

"I'm certain he had a son. I heard the story that his son died in one of those attacks ."

"I'll just ask my dad without raising any suspicion to be more sure."

"Can I ask why are you so concerned now?"

"I just want to know who I'm up against. Just want to know what his abilities are."

"Okay, see you around."

I have to come up with a good plan, and I think I know exactly how. My birthday is coming up soon, so I'll invite her to the party. First I need to go see my father.

"Hello father, are you busy?" I mind linked him.

"I'm almost done with a meeting."

I have to think of a way to approach this conversation easily without raising suspicion.

"No hurry dad."

My plan has to work, this has to work. If my father finds out what I'm planning or even a small hint that something is up, he will not allow me to ascend my position as Alpha on my birthday.

"Hello father, I have a question about that pack that says they don't need an alliance."

"What pack would that be?"

"The Saphire Blue Moon Pack."

"What about that pack, and why are you concerned now? You know I like to keep things as civil as possible. If a pack doesn't want to ally with anyone, then I'll leave them alone. That pack has not skied for any help. I have even asked the neighboring packs to look into this and no one is allies with sapphire Blue Moon."

"Well, I'm into this girl that I would like to invite over for the party, if that's okay with you."

"Who is this girl?"

"I think she might be the daughter of Alpha Nick."

"No, that is not possible, he only had one son and he got killed in one of the attacks by rogues years ago. Yes, you can invite her to the party the more the marrier. Who knows who your mate could be? I have invited all the she wolves from the packs we are allied to."

"Thanks Dad for all your help."

"No problem, son, I have high confidence that you will be a great leader and Alpha to this pack, that you will carry on my legacy."

I'm thinking of doing something differently.

"Yes, if it was not for your guidance I would not know where to start. I will assure you I will not let you down."

Great, my plan will workout as planned and no one can stop me. She is not the daughter of an alpha, but being the daughter of a beta would do just fine, hoping that Beta David is really close to the Alpha Nick. I need to get in touch with Ethan and Christopher. I need to infiltrate their pack one way or another.First I need to make sure I can trust these two fools.
