From the time that I passed out and fell, I was in and out of consciousness. I would hear bits and pieces of what was going on around me. I knew that Bear was beside me, putting pressure on my head. I knew that he was talking to me and telling me to hold on for him and Veer. I could hear the worry in his voice.
When the squad was getting closer to where I lay on the ground, I could hear it. I was right back out, and the next time that I came to, I was in the squad with Bear. I could hear him talking to me, but I couldn't hear what he was saying. I wasn't awake again for long, and then I was back out again.
