Lee hadn't heard back from Effie or Oliver for the rest of Saturday night. He knew that they were ok because his dad had been in touch with them. That was all that was keeping him sane at the moment. He hated what he was doing, but for right now, it was for the best. He would do whatever he had to do to protect her.
He wasn't sure how far the threats against him would go. So far, it didn't seem like they knew about Veer. But they did know about Effie because of when they were together years ago.
