Once Veer and I were ready to go, I double-checked his diaper bag to make sure that I had everything that I would need for the night in it. I made sure that there were plenty of diapers, wipes, and extra clothes. As well as snacks, drinks, and anything else that I would need for him.
When Leandro texted me that he was on his way and would be here soon, I started gathering stuff up to head downstairs. I attached the car seat and base together to make it easier to carry. Then I put my purse and diaper bag over my shoulder. Once I made sure that I had my keys and phone in my purse, I picked up Veer and set him on my hip. Then I grabbed the car seat.
I yelled out to Dove, "Hey, Leandro is on his way. Tell the boys that I'll talk to them when I get back home. I shouldn't be gone too
