Zayn POV
Two weeks of endless dreams, two weeks of wondering how she was, two weeks of longing to see her
What is this feeling?
Why am I obsessed with her?
But damn, as much as I would have loved to see her, I have been too busy to go find her, too busy to find out what exactly it was that made her stick on my mind right now
"Sir, the event hosted by Miss Mirabella will be in two days" said Sophia my PA who I had dismissed five minutes ago
"Thanks Sophia, I didn't forget" Mirabella is the daughter of one of my most important clients and her birthday is in two days. I had remembered because I needed the opportunity to meet and discuss something's with her dad about business
"Do you need anything else" Sophia's sultry voice came into my ears. I looked up to see her giving me the look
I chuckled eye-rolling her
"No Sophia, not in the mood" I told her then went back into typing
I would have really loved to have her under me right now screaming my name out but I can't. I haven't been able to do that since an encounter hence why I want to finish all my business right now and go get her, f**k her till she is out of my system!
"You haven't been in the mood for a while. Don't tell me mini you is now dormant" she teased raising a brow
"You know as much as I do he isn't. I just ain't in the mood" I shrugged hoping she drops it
Do I trust Sophia?
No! I trust no one from that gender aside Lizzy. I only got close to her because we see daily and she is the closest person to me in the building
"Alright then, I should probably get to Darren and get some. Goodnight Zayn boss" she grinned and left shaking her ass for me
Darren is her boyfriend but he is never around and they had an open relationship hence why we hookup
I dived back into working.
I went home with thoughts of her and unsurprisingly, I had dreamt of her again.

As we drove past their shop two days later, I was tempted to tell John to stop the car so I can go say hi to her and probably find out if she is down for the one night stand now
I am tired of having her invade my thoughts!
But then I have a meeting in thirty and I am rushing to catch up right now
"Still won't stop" asked John. He had noticed me looking towards the coffee shop every morning and been the smart type he is, he was able to figure out the reason
"No, I'll let her think I'm gone for now" I smirked
John chuckled then asked "do you really want her to boss?" I had no response.
I wanted to say yeah but my tongue was tied
I spent my whole day wondering what the right answer to that would be
"Hey dude" said Xavier. I had no idea he was in my office waiting. I guess Sophia didn't either from her expression
"I'm sorry sir, I wasn't informed you had a guest" she hastily explained. Well she might be someone I hook up with once in a while but she is one diligent worker
"No problem, you can go" I dismissed. Obviously, she couldn't have known he was here since we were together at the conference meeting.
"Hey man, wassup" I responded to my best friend and only brother. We might have been from different wombs but he feels more like family than family does to me
"I'm good, did I just interrupt something? I could go you know, if you need the privacy" he winked and I chuckled
"Nah I'm good... So what's with the visit?" He is one busy man
Not a surprise there though, as one of the best architects in the state, it's no wonder why his office hour is always occupied and whenever he is free, well he is a lover boy and he loves spending time with his girl!
"Well I was bored so I thought I should come to say hello to the guy who is refusing to accept the obvious" he teased...
I made the mistake of telling him about my experience at the coffee shop with the curvy brunette beauty and since then well I haven't had a moment of rest because he believes it could only mean one thing, love at first sight...
How insane could he get
"I am not denying anything man, there is nothing to deny actually" I told him
"That was what I had thought too and guess what in less than a year I gave her a ring and right now I can't wait to officially call her mine!" He told me with so much love in his eyes and voice
"I'm happy for you dude, I mean seeing you this happy warms the heart. I pray she doesn't turn out to be like them" I told him.
"Me too but one thing I know, I'll try my best to avoid such from happening " he promised and I knew that promise wasn't meant for me but himself
His fiance is one of the few girls I can stand her presence. I hardly associate with ladies except we are entangled under the sheets together but with Lisa, I feel like I can actually hold a normal conversation without getting disgusted or aroused
"I'm still wondering why you decided on coming here when you could have just gone over to hers" I am happy he came around but then I'm surprised at his presence here!
"Well, she insisted I do not come over until later tonight. The girl is drained you know" we both chuckled at that "so who is joining you tonight?" He knew I'll be attending the event tonight and he would too.
Honestly, I haven't thought of going with a date
"No one" I shrugged
"Damn Mirabella is going to assume you came alone because of her" he pointed out and I felt like facepalming myself. I had forgotten about that very important fact
"s**t dude, but I'm out of options and I can't go with Sophia" I don't want her believing there could be something else between us. Catching feelings would only create a mess so I have never attended any event with her...
"There is this new friend Lisa made and she keeps talking about how beautiful and sweet she is, she will be attending tonight as well" he told me and I could totally hear it from his voice he is trying to link us up.
"If she is like Lisa described then she will be having a plus one. And moreover, I don't want to hook up with any of her friends, that might sabotage her relationship and I wouldn't want that. I'm certain you wouldn't too" I told him
"Well I know for a fact she won't be coming with any guy since she will be on the servers list" he shrugged and it took some seconds before his words registered in my head...
"Why would Lisa friend be one of the servers" I asked because I couldn't figure how possible that was
"Well... " he went on to tell me her story and how she needs urgent finance for her mom's health and she is refusing to accept help from Lisa hence the reason for her hard work.
I was shocked to hear some people struggled this much. How is that possible!
"But the country's economy is great man, how is it possible for her to be financially drained this much?" I couldn't understand it
"Well man, you need to start listening to news and documentaries. Most of your workers have the same story as that of Lisa's friend. Not everyone has things delivered to them on a silver platter, some work really hard for it" Xavier explained
"Well that's disheartening" I added
"Yeah. By the way, why not help her pay the bills. Some sort of charity?" He suggested
"I'll think about it" frankly it ain't my business so why bother?
We then talked about random things, ranging from sports to cars before he decided he has been away from the office for long
I went on with my task until I finally left to prepare for tonight.
I decided to take a nap first but my short nap turned out to be for a while hence why I got to the venue later than I had hoped for.
As soon as I got in, I spotted Xav and Lisa talking and laughing but Lisa looked like she was searching for someone. I walked towards them and after my handshake with Xav, Lisa hugged me and we got talking
I thought I was mistaken when I had seen her before but right now, I am here gawking at her and wondering "how many jobs does she have?" He asked himself frustratingly
Why the f**k are you frustrated Zayn!
Gosh I can't believe I'm having an argument within me right now over a girl who hasn't even noticed my presence
As though she heard me, she turned towards me and I couldn't help still being awed by her beauty, although she looked so tired she still was a beauty! I felt really upset seeing her work so hard to the extent it was evident to her!
"Hey man, need a bucket? The drool is f*****g much" Xav laughed
"Don't think about it Zayn... She isn't like other girls" hearing Lisa's words, a thought came to me she couldn't be the one right?
I guess Xav had the same thought because his next question voiced out mine
"That's Alayna?" He asked and she nodded while waving her over
"f**k!" I muttered within me
"Which hospital?" I didn't know why but I hated seeing her have to stress this hard for how much! I guess I'll be doing the charity then
"You know her?" Lisa asked and before I could answer Xav interrupted
"The coffee girl!" His eyes bulged "now I know why you can't stop thinking of her" he added
He is right, she looked so beautiful and what's that on her face?
Confused Lisa watched us both but she didn't ask any more questions and smiled towards the beauty whose name I now know

Just as beautiful as she is
"Hi" she shyly greeted. Looking everywhere but me I chuckled at how cute she was acting
"We meet again" I smiled towards her
"Sorry Lisa, I have to get back to work, I guess you're Xavier, my pleasure meeting you" she stretched out her hand towards Xav ignoring me!
"OK calm down girl, you just got here, and what's up with your face?" She blushed but didn't respond
Guess someone was trying to cover up some beauty.
Xavier decided to respond seeing how she has no plan to answer Lisa
"Same here. And just as I heard, you are a beauty. Meet my friend Zayn" Xav winked at me
"Hello. I'm sorry though but I need to get back to work now" her smile was perfect!
I watched her cute ass move away until she was out of my view
"OK, what was that?" Asked Lisa
Xav filled her in on the coffee scenario and she laughed
"That's just like Al. If you were asking which hospital in hopes of having s*x with her then kill the hope cause it won't happen. She isn't your regular hoes" she warned me
"Trust me babe, he doesn't think of her as one" Xav added
Before the night ended, I had called the hospital and have arranged to pay the full bill tomorrow morning and I expect treatment to start immediately
Recalling our conversation earlier, I couldn't help smiling sheepishly before succumbing to sleep finally.
