It's been two weeks since I encountered the annoying handsome jerk whose face kept popping into my head at random times.
Not only does his face invade into my head, but his words also do too.
It is more frustrating how I keep on wondering what it would have felt like to have him inside of me?!
I had wished I met him for a while because mom's health wasn't getting any better and losing my virginity to such a man wouldn't be bad. It was just a crazy thought that crossed my mind before I got rid of them.

Presently I'm in the doctor's office with Chris, we are hoping the little money we were able to raise will be worth being deposited so that mom's treatment can begin as soon as possible. We have delayed it enough
"Alayna, Chris, I would have loved to help but this hospital works with policies. I can't just go against everything you know. I already applied for help for your mom, hopefully an organization will decide to assist her" Doctor Jones explained.
It broke my heart to hear this but I had expected it also. I knew the possibility of him helping was almost zero but I had to try at least
"Thank you doctor" Chris choked out. He has been very emotional since I opened up to him about Mom's current situation hence why when he learned I'll be meeting the doctor today, he insisted on joining me.
"I'm so sorry" the doctor apologized looking indeed sorry
I smiled at him. I understood his hands were tied in this situation and I definitely don't blame him for not being able to help
As soon as we closed the door, Chris broke down on my chest. They say men hardly show emotions but with Chris, his family matter to him a whole lot
"Shhh, we will be fine. Remember the Job Lisa told me about, well the pay is good and if I do well, I might get hired again" I explained in hopes to pacify him
Lisa and I had met after she invited me over for lunch, apparently, she had no friends since her cycle all wants her for something. Hence why she is so persistent in being my friend
She liked the fact that I was hardworking and that I was grateful even to the little things been done for me. We became friends and I really loved her company.
Her boyfriend who I'm yet to meet due to mine and his busy schedule had indeed proposed to her and she couldn't be more overjoyed about it. I was so happy for her too, it's no surprise she is happy to be with him
She knew about my challenges and she offered to assist even though she didn't have the whole amount either since she isn't working but her fiancé could help. I had declined because the amount was too huge for me to let her do such
And I couldn't be a burden to them! They need the finance to plan their wedding.
She had insisted but seeing how adamant I was, she let it go.
Two days ago, she had called to tell me about this event the elites hold and offered to help me get a spot as a waitress since the pay is good.
I had accepted as soon as she said it because I had to source for money
"Is it possible for her to help me get a spot too, at least the pay will be doubled" Chris's voice brought me back from my head.
I know he feels guilty that I have to do all this alone but he shouldn't. I'm happy knowing one of us is concentrated on chasing our dreams
"I doubt there is still any vacancy, the event is tomorrow and moreover, I need you to pour all your concentration into studying" that would be the best reward he can give me and mom
"I'm sorry for being so useless Lay" he apologized before pulling me into a hug
What a dramatic kid
I chuckled "useless is no word to describe you i***t" our little emotional phase came to an end and we both walked down to check on our mom.

My brother is really a heartthrob, he saw me off to the park where I'll be boarding a bus that will take me to the city.
I was so nervous I had a feeling that something was going to happen, it was just my instincts hence why I tried ignoring it...
"I love you too, see you later" I waved at Chris before hopping onto the bus. I watched him stand there watching the bus leave until I couldn't see him again
Lisa said she will be here later tonight with her Fiance as her date, and she made me promise I won't act like I do not know her. I had thought she would be embarrassed to associate with me in public especially since I would be working as a server but she wasn't.
Instead, she was excited for tonight because I will finally get to meet her fiance!
"You are my friend and it's not like you are stealing. You are working and I would be happy to let the world know I'm friends with a hardworking lady who won't give up just because life went sour" Those were her beautiful touching words. I felt so touched and appreciated.
I finally made a friend after London. London has been my best friend since diapers but she had moved to London after high school. She always wanted to live there and the fact that she shares the same name as that beautiful city has always been something she was proud of. Her dreams became a reality after her mom got a job there and they moved.
I missed my best friend, we still call ourselves daily and tell each other how life has been to us but it wasn't the same as having her right here next to me.
I was finally at my stop and was able to locate the venue without stress. The interior designs were perfect and looked really expensive.
A lady came and oriented us on what to do and how to act later just the usual 'don't mess this up for us talk' and we got to work
I was having fun since none of the guests cared to glance at the servers.
Some perverts would whistle whenever I passed by them but they didn't go beyond their boundary
I wondered where Lisa could be and just as I spotted her, I also noticed someone else next to her!
What in heaven's name is he doing here! and why are they together!
Worst of it all, why is he looking right at me?!
