Chapter 13

1045 Words
Liam's head was between my thighs, his tongue dipping between my folds, making me gasp and writhe on the bed as he brought me close to yet another orgasm. "Please, Liam, Please!" my voice sounded desperate even to me as he pulled away from me, not giving me the satisfaction of coming. "Please what?" he growled, looking up from between my legs, his eyes no longer the forest green color; instead, they glowed yellow, his wolf close to the surface. "Please," I gasped as he moved up my body, kissing as he went before stopping at my n****e, his lips teasing and sucking lightly. Letting out a growl, Liam bit my n****e as he pulled back. "That's not good enough anymore, my little fox. Tell me what you want." Pulling him up, so we were face to face, he nestled between my legs, hard and ready at my entrance. "f**k me and make me yours." I woke sweaty, shaking, and confused, opening my eyes. Part of me wished Liam would be hovering above me. I let out a growl as I threw the blankets off, suddenly angry with myself. What the hell is wrong with me!? Not only did I dream about him but about asking him to claim me! I growled again as I rushed past Leia out the door and down her steps. Breaking into a run as my feet hit the gravel of her driveway. Pausing once I hit the, I tore my clothes off, throwing them in a pile at the base of the closest tree. Shifting into the form of my fox, I took off as fast as my little paws would carry me. I ran until I couldn't run anymore, and even then, I ran some more. When I returned to Leia's that night, the sun was setting, and I knew what to do. Leia met me at the door, ready for me before I even knocked, a knowing look on her face as she took in my ragged appearance. "What's your plan?" "Find him and.." I stopped, not sure exactly what I planned to do or even what I would say. All I knew was I needed him. "And?" "I don't know, Leia. I'm not sure where his pack house is, let alone where he may be right now." "Wait here." Leia disappeared into the dark house. Reappearing two minutes later with my bag and slip of paper in her hands. "That's his current location. If your quick, you can catch him before he leaves." Shoving the items into my hand, she closed the door firmly, making it clear I only had two choices go home or find Liam. I knew the moment I reached pack land because with every turn I took. Eyes glowed at me from the trees, and my headlights passed over where they hid. The pack was watching me and wanted me to know it even though their alpha was technically my mate. I was an outsider, and they wanted me to know it. I kept my face blank. I would not show fear; I couldn't. If I had any hope of being accepted by Liam's pack, I could not and would not show fear. After what felt like an eternity, I pulled up to a farmhouse the size of a mansion. But unlike any normal place, there were no lights on within. If I didn't know better, I would have thought no one was home, but considering how many wolves I had seen upon entering pack land, I was far from surprised. Opening my door, I stepped out slowly, searching for the eyes of the wolves I knew to be lurking in and around the house. I had just closed the door when someone spoke from behind me, "You don't belong here." Turning around, a girl no older than 18 stood there, her eyes bright and glowing. "Where's Liam?" "Did you not hear me, little fox? You don't belong here! Leave!" The she-wolf growled, her body shaking with the effort of holding back her wolf. "I am not leaving until I see Liam," I growled back. "Anna?" Turning around, there stood Kate, Jace's mate "Anna, what are you doing here?" "I need to see Liam. Do you know where he is?" "he's in a meeting with the other local alphas right now there, trying to come up with a way to deal with the killer." "Can you take me to him, please I need to see him, Kate, it's important" Kate chewed her lip for a moment, her face uncertain as she eyed me in confusion. "I wish I could, but only the alphas and their mates are allowed to attend, Anna." "I am his mate Kate, and you can either show me where he is, or I will find him with or without your help," I growled, suddenly angry with the woman standing before me. "you have rejected him in every way but one, Anna. Do what you must, but I will not help, nor will anyone here." Turning away from Kate, I stalked towards the tree line and away from the pack house. "Anna," Kate called to me as I entered the dark forest, "I hope you're doing this for the right reasons. I've known Liam for a long time, and he deserves to be happy" I paused, looking over my shoulder at her before turning back around, not wanting to see her face as I spoke. "I want him to be happy I just hope I'm able to be what he needs." I hadn't been walking long when I caught Liam's scent on the wind. I took off at a run, not caring about the pain as my bare feet came into contact with sharp rocks and twigs. My feet were raw and bloody when I reached the clearing, but I didn't hesitate as I pushed my way through the brush and into the clearing. Four alphas stood in the clearing, some by themselves while others had their mates at their sides, all looking my way, unsurprised at my sudden appearance. "so this is the mysterious fox shifter we've all heard so much about." A graying and old alpha to my right spoke with a slight smile on his face.
