"So it was this creature that was watching us all the time? That's why that feeling I was getting..." Jack spoke as he watched Indira fly happily around the boys.
"She doesn't just go invisible" Fenrir said, "she can disguise her scent and presence very well, the power to hide from her is enviable."
"Okay, okay, but don't change the subject, okay?" Ethan said with his arms crossed, "Dude, I'll leave you guys alone for a few minutes and you guys start fighting around so it can't be done."
"Hey man, we didn't have a choice, ok?"
"Just…be more careful, is it? There is always a choice, remember that."
"Alright, enough of this motivational talk" Sam shrugged, "Aren't you guys hungry? It's lunchtime!"
"It's welcome food," Elza said, "even though Amelia has decided to cancel the party and the whole thing for a faster start to school, I bet lunch and dinner are going to be pretty special."
Ethan noticed his friends looking at everything almost drooling, especially Arthur, Jack and Marcus, besides, he wasn't going to deny it, he was like that too. There was so much there that Ethan couldn't pay attention to one specific thing.
"Wow, it's awesome here!" said Ethan. "I can not believe!"
"In a little while I'll be like Jack" Arthur said.
"Like me? It's never going to be so pretty." Jack laughed.
"It doesn't matter, let's eat soon." Sam said.
"No one will eat more than me" Arthur said.
"Want to bet?" Jack teased.
"Done!"
"Boys, boys, you can't compete with me in that regard." Ethan said confidently.
"I bet it will be a legendary battle" Marcus intruded.
"Oh no, please don't embarrass me any more!" Seraph sighed rolling his eyes. It was then that Fenrir rested his arms on Jack and Ethan's shoulders.
"A competition, huh" He said with a smirk on his face "look, I don't know? I'll bet on the big gorilla over there" he pointed his finger towards Stanis.
"Done!" Jack agreed "then let's go!"
Ethan won. Arthur came after him, and said he just didn't eat anymore to not get sleepy afterwards, soon after came Marcus, Sam, and only after him, Jack. It was a big mess and Arthur even bet he would win in a louder burp contest, which he had been. Turns out the boys overreacted and ended up getting sick of all that unbridled eating. They took some time to just rest after the meal, but their Student Bracelets indicated that the next class was very close. The school's megaphones hissed before a woman's voice spoke.
"Good afternoon, my childs! I hope you enjoyed your meal. I believe you have your schedule in hand, in the Student Bracelets, classes are starting please don't miss them! The first day is really important! The Bracelets will tell you that where and which classrooms should be at a certain time. Free time can be filled with the optional classes you prefer. Or if you feel better, club activities, sports, among so many other things, as we've already mentioned, your creativity will be fine encouraged here. You choose. Now go and don't be late my little ones, good classes."
"I imagine our classes are the same, Introduction to Magical Studies" Miguel said looking at the bracelet, "I imagine they'll stay there a little longer, recovering from the nonsense they made at lunch, so I'll see them there." Miguel got up, Stanis, Seraph and Victoria went with him.
"We'll be there in a bit, really seriously" Jack said, lying on a bench over there. Ethan dozed off before he realized it and woke up with Jack saying they were going to be late. The boys looked at each other.
"So, are you guys up for a run?" Fenrir asked with a smile, as he knew the conditions his friends were in.
