A Tree Leaves Fall - (Arthur)

1141 Words
Arthur played a sport similar to football on the school field, in fact, it was exactly football and had been brought by explorers of dimensions to Fantastinen. Some of the guys who played with him didn't believe that Arthur had really come from the land and although Arthur tried hard, his team was the one who lost the game. Defeats or wins in games or sports also counted Duel Points for the students, Arthur didn't want to lose, in fact, even if it wasn't worth anything, Arthur never wanted to lose. They took a break and he grabbed a bottle of water and wet his head, still angry from the current defeat. He realized they were looking at him. It was a boy, and he had been watching him for a long time. A dark-skinned boy with green mohawk hair, he had almond and forest green eyes and a shiny earring in his left ear. "You're not bad. And you're even quick for someone with such short legs and stout body." The boy spoke and Arthur realized it was him. "What do you want?" Arthur growled at the guy he didn't even know. "Shouldn't you be investigating the school's secret passageways, Arthur Coast?" Asked the boy calmly and Arthur came to alert. "Who are you?" growled Arthur. "An ally, we want to discover the same things, I can help you." "I'm doing my best here, understand, I'm in this game, because I want Duel Points, with them I'll buy some information with certain people." "It's a good plan, Arthur, but I have information that I can give you for free, all I ask is that you come with me, seriously, it's good information." "I'm busy right now, if you didn't notice." "My information is worth far more than any you can buy, Arthur." "I don't even know who you are, man, I'm going to have to go back to playing, you get out or just stand there and watch me win the game." "In this case," the boy came down from where he was sitting, "let me introduce myself, I am Kenan Laane, and I invite you once more to join me." He was very Zen, seemed like a nice guy, but there was something about him that Arthur didn't like. "Okay Kenan Laane, I don't know how you know my name or something, just don't piss me off anymore!" Arthur growled turned to go back to the field. "You really have a rock-hard head, huh, Arthur" Kenan shook his head in disapproval, "in that case, fight me and earn Duel Points during your game break, I can guarantee you I'll give you more of the that this stupid game, moreover, as a courtesy, I give you the information I have. But only if you beat me, do you think you can?" Arthur turned back to Kenan with a confident smile. "Fight? Beat you? Is it serious?" Arthur smiled and Kenan nodded. The chosen one from the land looked at his teammates, and then told them that he would be back before the break was over, that the fight would end quickly, but his teammates seemed to be worried, like Kenan was strong. That just made things more interesting! "So yes. I accept this fight." Arthur smiled and punched his hand. "I'll hit you fast so there's time for me to get back into the game. I'm strong." "Great" Kenan smiled confidently and sent the Fair Fight request to Arthur, who accepted right away, the two followed to one of the training grounds that was very close to the sports field. Kenan got into fighting stance, Arthur punched his hand, and got into fighting stance as well. "After all, how do you know my name?" "I know a lot about you." "How? Who are you?" "I'm Kenan Laane. Are we here to fight, or are we talking?" "You're right." Arthur smiled confidently. Arthur lunged at Kenan, fists raised to his face like a boxer. He fired a straight right at Kenan, who dodged it skillfully, Arthur then tried an uppercut, and was expecting to see Kenan's blood, when incredibly the boy dodged and returned the blow to his face. He was impressed, but he didn't let himself get down, and ended up taking a second punch, this time to the chest. After the punch, Kenan spun around and hit him with a painful kick. Before he knew it he was on the ground. Kenan began to sway, in a footwork thats looks like a rocking step. Arthur got up, punching the ground, frustrated with himself. He wasn't going to let himself get hit again. "I hope you're prepared" Arthur said, but Kenan didn't respond, he looked very focused, "STONE PUNCH!!" Arthur said, summoning a stone crust that covered his arm. Arthur advanced on Kenan. "SYLVAN DEFENSE!!" Kenan yelled, making a sort of plant shield, which stopped Arthur's heavy, stony arm. "THORNS KICK!!" Arthur only had time to see Kenan's foot, covered in thorns and vines, coming towards him and hitting him in the right side of the face. He felt the blood ooze from his skin, he was dizzy and weak, and he fell to the ground.  "You are strong, Arthur. You fought well." said Kenan, in his zen way again. He offered his hand to Arthur, but the boy refused. "Do you think I'm going to be defeated with just that?" Arthur growled, standing up again, his face bleeding. "As expected, you have great stamina." Kenan smiled and began to waddle again as Arthur advanced once more. "STONE PUNCH!!!" However, once again Arthur was hit by Kenan's spike kick and once again fell to the ground. Arthur started to feel weak, that guy was stronger than he looked, that calm way of his hid a kind of wild strength, he was dangerous and his fighting style... it was some weird kind of capoeira that made his movements unpredictable. The chosen one of the earth began to rise again, with some difficulty. "Hey, you know what?" Arthur growled at Kenan, "I don't plan on losing!" Then he smiled and focused his magic power, "Try this attack! EARTHQUAKE PUNCH!!!" A powerful tremor was invoked as Arthur pounded the ground, a loud earth-shaking noise was heard, boulders rushed fiercely upwards, attacking the enemy, but still so much power was to no avail. Kenan Laane did aerials cartwheels with great dexterity like an acrobat and dodged all the earthquake and earth routes that towered against him, in the end, when the earth storm passed, Arthur saw his enemy come out unscathed.  "My turn. THORNS KICK!!" Then Kenan advanced with a butterfly kick covered with vigorous thorns that hit Arthur once more in the head, the bracelets immediately announced the defeat of Arthur that did not take long to lose consciousness.
