The boys' old routine was over. It was Monday and they were supposed to go to school normally, but the mysterious "goddess" Gwendy had other plans. To begin with they were offered a transfer proposal to the Sacred Heart Institute, the Order's teaching institute, and also regarded as an elite school. Jack's family didn't even understand why he was being invited to such an important school.
"How did an i***t like you get an invitation to this rich people's school? This has to be a mistake, it has to be!" His father spoke still looking at the letter of recommendation that he had to sign in disbelief.
"Don't talk like that dear, our son must work secretly, no wonder he spends so much time locked in his room, I always knew he was special." Said his mother.
"Strives like what?" Asked his younger brother, who was lying down and with a bored look on his face as he poked his nostrils removing dirt from there, not giving any importance to manners. "He spends a lot of time locked in his room, but the only effort he makes is with his right arm while watching those cartoons of busty girls..."
"Hey, hey, hey, stop!" Jack complained, preventing his brother from talking more nonsense, "and it's not cartoon, it's anime, ok?"
"Anime? I thought it had another name, what was it again?" His brother thought putting the same finger that was on his nose now on his chin "uh, I think that your friends had said... hentai."
"Hey, just shut up!" Jack asked through gritted teeth.
"What?" His dad asked with a yell the whole neighborhood must have heard, "What's hentai, kid?"
"Is nothing!"
"Hentai, hentai, hentai!" Exclaimed joyfully and innocently, clapping hands, his little sister who was just a little child.
Jack just asked his parents to sign the documents right away, with a facepalm.
Later, when Jack was already with his other friends, he told the story, in which Fenrir said:
"You know that reminds me a lot of the story of when I went shopping for some movies with Ethan."
"What? Hey don't you dare!" Ethan exclamed.
"Ethan wanted some hentai and then he asked the guy at the store 'hey, is there hentai here?' all shy and ashamed, almost whispering so people won't hear."
"Fenrir, that's enough!"
"Then the guy said 'hentai? What the hell is hentai?' in a less discreet voice, Ethan replied in his very low voice 'its… its …Japanese p**n cartoon'…the guy from the store made a face and then asked yelling at another employee of the store 'hey! Any japanese p**n cartoon here?' and then everyone in the store suddenly looked at us, like, with suspicious faces, you know?"
Jack and his friends laughed, while Ethan said it wasn't funny at all.
They were waiting for the car that would take them, supposedly, to Gwendy's house. What appeared was a luxury limousine bearing the coat of arms of an important family, owner of a franchise of multinational companies, Megami Corporation.
"I think I can get used to this," Sam said as he snuggled into the vehicle seat. Gwendy's house…or rather, Gwendy's mansion was in one of the most upscale areas of the city, which was very different from the suburban, poor area where the boys lived.
When the boys arrived in the drawing room, she was there, dressed casually and smiling at them.
"Hey boys" she greeted them. Jack had never thought that one day he would ride in a car like that, or walk into a house like that, it was all pretty impressive (despite Jack having previously gained magical powers!)
"Goddess my a*s, you're just a spoiled rich little girl, aren't you?" Said Fenrir, looking around with a suspicious face.
"Hey, look at the mouth little boy." Gwendy grinned mischievously and stuck out her tongue, "So, Fenrir, do you like it?"
"Yeah, not bad, let's say."
"I prepared a snack for us, boys" Gwendy rang a bell and some servants appeared with trays that they placed on a table that was there, Gwendy invited the boys to sit on the sofas that were there. The snack Gwendy had prepared for them basically consisted of lots of sweets, sweets of all kinds, but especially muffins and cupcakes.
"Cool, cool, sugar is good too, not wanting to complain but wouldn't you have something here with meat?" Arthur asked. The boys were talking a little and eating when they heard a voice:
"So are these your new little soldiers, little sister?" Asked a girl appearing there in that hall. Jack blushed, she was very beautiful, she looked seventeen, her hair was red and wavy and was braided into a ponytail, her mouth was well drawn and one eye was the same violet color as Gwendy, while the other was a hue a deep blue, she was tall and was wearing a blue dress down to her knees, in one hand she had a book, her face had an expression that could have been curiosity, benevolence or coldness, Jack couldn't tell. Ethan dropped one of the cupcakes and immediately stood up, heading towards the girl with a serious look on his face, but a small cupcake mustache was above his mouth.
"Oui, ma beau mademoiselle" He said imposing his voice and holding the girl's hand, on Jack's side, Fenrir held back his laughter because Ethan had that ridiculous cupcake mustache.
"You don't mean to kiss my hand like that, do you?" The girl asked Ethan. Gwendy caught Ethan's attention and pointed toward her mouth, indicating that Ethan had a little frosting mustache, with that, Fenrir could no longer contain his laughter from Jack's side. Embarrassed, Ethan turned away from the girl and grabbed a napkin to clean himself up.
"Hm...well...pardon me beautiful lady, but when I saw your divine presence emerge in such a way, I ended up forgetting everything else." Ethan continued.
"Yes, indeed I am a goddess, but I have contained my divine nature in this mortal existence." The girl said between giggles at Ethan's words, as if she found those awkward flirtations funny.
"Hey wait, so what you're saying is really true? Are you really a goddess or something?" Miguel wanted to know.
"Yes, I am, you can call me Lyan, in this form I am Lyan Megami, said heiress of the Megami Corporation, but this is just a smack, I'm just here to keep an eye on my little sister."
"How am I supposed to know that you really are goddesses and not just spoiled heiresses of a big corporation?" Fenrir asked, sitting with his arms crossed, looking at Lyan suspiciously.
"Hey Fenrir, is this serious?" Sam scolded his friend.
"Believe me boy, you don't want me to release my immortal form here," Lyan said calmly, "but if you want simple proof, I can tell you the day of your death if you really want to know."
"So Gwendy is a goddess of Fantastinen" Miguel said, as if thinking, "okay, but goddess of what? And why do you need us?"
"I'm stuck in my mortal form, that's the truth." Gwendy replied without flinching.
"Sister, are you really going to tell them that?" Lyan asked impressed.
"Yeah, it's a long story, but yes Miguel, not only me but Earth and Fantastinen need the Six Warriors. Why did I choose you? Well, it all started maybe millennia ago, I started the Six Warriors tradition, I chose the first generation, but after a few the Order of Interdimensional Guardians started to take care of the Kerds and choose the bearers in a dubious way. Trained warriors, lifelong prepared to serve, where was the heroism in that? Where was that fierce spirit that arises when needed in the common people? An inner spirit of greatness capable of awakening an ancient legendary power in a crystalline item. I started with the Six Warriors and after the failure of the fifth generation, chosen by the Guardians, I saw that I couldn't be left out anymore. Neither birth in a noble birth nor lifelong training will guarantee worthy warriors. Investigating some of the Second and First Class squad members, I saw that many of them knew some of you, and you didn't even know about all of this. It was through some members of the Second and First Class that I came to you, simple anime fans secretly surrounded by powerful Guardians. And yes, I have also become an anime fan in this earthly life and have always believed in underdogs and losers who come out on top. That's what I was looking for! That's what I found in you guys and when the Kerds answered your calls I knew I made the right choice. Crystals don't lie. The older generations chose them, just like me."
"My sister is pretty impulsive and headstrong when she wants to, pretty stubborn" Lyan grinned, "but in the end, that instinct of hers manages to be right many times."
"Yeah, that's it boys, now let's go to those arrogant Guardians and show them, with nothing to fear, what you're made of."
"Yoshi!" Jack exclaimed getting up very excited "that's it, let's go!"
