Chapter Fourteen Sydney continued to lean against the bench as the kitchen rapidly emptied. She watched Shawn as he slowly smiled and put his glass aside. He rested his hands on her hips. “What say we skip the movie?” Sydney put her own glass on the bench. “I guess.” Maybe she should go home. This was so much harder than she’d thought it would be. Shawn laughed. “You playing hard to get?” He linked his fingers through hers and tugged her towards his room again. “Hurry up before something else distracts you.” Sydney managed to contain her annoyance at his comment.
