Melinda did not come to her bedroom window right away. Bobby could see Tina and Joe and Melinda in the living room on the first floor, and then his wife and Joe left the living room, to go to the den and work.
Melinda just sat there looking at a magazine. She never once looked over to see if Bobby was sitting at the picture window.
