CHAPTER FOUR Monday morning. After Melinda saw Joe pulling out of the driveway, with Tina sitting right next to him, she decided to have another cup of coffee. Joe, her black-haired he-man, could sometimes be bubble-headed. Oh, she loved him all right, but in the morning, he didn't always have it together, meaning that quite often he'd come back after she thought he left for work, to get something that he suddenly remembered he had left in the den. One cup of coffee was usually enough time. If he forgot anything that morning, he was not coming back for it, she decided, about ten minutes later. She stood up, and started to leave the kitchen.
