THE ENDING

CHAPTER FOUR

Kay was actually very scared of his employer. There was a nervousness that came over him whenever he was in his presence. It was as expected of course, when your boss is the richest man in the world, and one of the most powerful. To him, Kaiyo seemed pretty insignificant, but if he wanted, he could make his life a living hell.

The thought was still sending shivers up his spine when his office smart watch beeped. The watch was wirelessly connected to a small ear phone and he intercepted the call with a tap. He instinctively recoiled at the sound of the gruffy voice.

"Sir?"

There was a pause.

"Okay sir, I'm coming right away sir."

Making his way to the elevator, he couldn't help but wonder why he was being summoned. The boss's office was usually the last place he cleaned for the day. That way, it would be sparkling clean for the next morning. So what else could he be calling him for? "Am I getting a raise?", he thought to himself. "No i***t, not after this stunt you pulled minutes ago". "Wait, what if I'm getting fired??" His inner dialogue was freaking him out more and more.

Moments later, the elevator doors dinged open and Kaiyo stepped out. He paused a bit at the door, trying to put on a straight face and look calm. The plaque on the door read: Virgo Maximiliano. CEO, V.I.R.G.O Technologies.

Kaiyo used his key card on the door and it slid open. Still standing at the entrance, he inquired:

"Sir. You asked for me?"

Soon as he heard him, Virgo spurn around in his seat. He had a grin on his face, and his smile was unnerving.

"Hello Kaiyo. Please come in."
