Chapter Ten - Part Six

One of the women from the group came up to the bar, where they were, to get more drinks for her group. Her voice was smooth and lilted in all the right places. He noted how even though she was drinking with her group, she wasn’t obnoxious like a lot of drunk women he’s experienced. He also noticed how friendly and caring she treated the bartender.

He felt a flare of jealousy when she reached to show physical affection to the bartender. He clenched his jaw irritated at himself for his illogical emotion.

All too soon, she left, and he couldn’t help but follow her with his gaze. When she turned and looked over her shoulder to say something more, he saw the brightest blue eyes twinkling with vivacity. He tracked her path back to her table and took a few moments to himself to admire her ass and legs. Not too skinny, she was muscular and lean, but still had soft feminine lines. He turned back around and caught his best friends, Casmin and Adrian, smirking at him.
