“We’re serious, though.” Lisa said.
“You do need a carnal release.” Mari added nonchalantly.
“Alright. It’s settled. We dare you to go buy him a drink.” Rachael said, rubbing her hands together dramatically.
“And! Strike up a conversation!” Abigail quickly added, catching the loop hole Ada was thinking of.
“All of you suck.” Ada grumbled, she took a gulp of her beer then got up and walked to the bar while her traitorous friends laughed.
She walked up the exact spot where she had hailed Lurch earlier. She set her beer down with a light tap and climbed up into the seat. She turned to face the man that stood between her and a night of incessant heckling from her friends.
She was met with the darkest brown eyes she had ever seen that seemed to look straight into her soul. Her chest constricted while simultaneously her heart rate skyrocketed.
Her mouth dropped slightly open dumbfoundedly as she tried to remember what she was going to say and failed.
Lurch stopped in front of her to see what she needed. That was all the kickstart to her brain she needed.
