Ada rubbed her face with her hands as she followed Etienne across the asphalt. His jet had just landed in his territory and she was running on a total of 3 hours of sleep.
She agreed to take on the project, but she had to return to her previous job to wrap things up. She also wanted to give her friends decent good bye’s. Etienne was paranoid enough to not trust her to come back on her own. So, he went with her to wrap up her current project. She still had a few loose ends to clean up, but they were things she could easily do remotely. As soon as she was finished, Etienne immediately whisked her back onto his jet and made a beeline back to his territory.
