Etienne was talking intensely on the phone while Adrian drove his super car at insane speeds. The law enforcement had already been notified of Adrian and Etienne on the road. So they were not worried about an overzealous cop trying to stop them. Etienne wasn't worried about being pulled over and ticketed, especially since they all, technically, report to him. It was the delay in being stopped that he didn't want to deal with. And he wouldn't admit out loud. but he was worried that they couldn't afford a delay, that she might be that much ahead of them.
At the moment he was talking to one of his directors in his transport department. The man wasn't an i***t, he just talked really...slow. Etienne did NOT have the patience to deal with this man's bullshit drawl.
