DAISY'S POV
"What?" Bryan roared as he shot up to my feet.
"Damn it, Bryan! You shouldn't be on your feet! You're still recovering!" Kyle exclaimed.
"I don't care! Didn't you hear what she just said?" He screamed instead.
My heart was pounding heavily at this point. I hated it to be this way but it felt to me that this was the best option.
Why should I keep holding on to something that was obviously not working? Why did I have to keep fighting for something that I could not win?
Perhaps if my parents were alive then the story would have been different. I was a nobody and the earlier I accepted it and pulled myself out of any delusions I was living in, the sooner I would be able to help myself.
