DAISY'S POV
Sounds echoed. The world felt blurry.
Time seemed to pass me by. Everything was happening so fast. I had no idea how to react or what to do.
I just watched helplessly as they carried me away, out of the court of the house. I looked for the guards and saw that they were already overpowered by the multitude of people who had gathered here.
Pevia's voice kept reaching me over the voices of the screaming people. I was stuck in my own head as I watched as if I was an observer standing on the side, seeing as I was being carried away to my death.
And I found myself going back to the information that Pevia had given me. She said that her aunt died.
