ZAC'S POV
I stared back at Marcus in shock.
Half of me wanted to believe every word he said. The other half of me wanted to keep my expectations down so that I would not feel disappointed when it all came crashing down.
My wolf shifted uncomfortably as my heart began to race.
"What did you just say?" My mother whispered. She was the first person to recover from the news that Marcus had broken upon us.
Marcus smiled. He seemed to be enjoying himself. He stepped forward and stopped before Daisy. Daisy, on the other hand, looked as if she had seen a ghost. She has turned as white as a sheet of paper.
