I did not know what to think.
I did not know what to believe. I was beyond shocked. Just a few minutes ago, I was a nobody who did not deserve to be mated to the triplets and now, I was qualified, I was worthy.
My wolf was dancing with excitement. My body was urging me to be happy but I was scared.
What if I let myself be happy and it all turned out to be a cruel dream? What if I accepted everything and it turned out that Marcus made a grave mistake and my father was not the illegitimate son that she talked about?
It all felt too good to be true and I was scared.
I watched in silence as Ruby dragged her mother away and something told me that the all-mighty Riya would not make a fool of herself because of some sick trick that she wanted to play on me. Right?
