DAISY'S POV
Voices echoed around me.
My body felt numb. My wolf felt paralyzed. My heart was not even beating at a normal rate. My vision was unstable as it danced around the place.
I looked to the side where I lay on the floor and saw that the candles were still burning brightly. There was no longer anyone in the space with me.
Where did they all go?
Yet I could hear echoing voices around me. Although, I could not understand what they were saying.
Where were the voices coming from?
"I need to get up," I whispered and my own voice echoed across the space.
I forced the numbness out of my body and made myself rise to my feet. My vision had not yet stabilised and I feared moving around. Because at this rate, I could have a great fall.
"Zac?" I called but there was no response.
