DAISY'S POV As I walked out of the chamber, there was only one question on my mind. Why did I do it? Pevia was as quiet as ever, not daring to say a word but I could feel her eyes on me. I knew that she wanted to say something but she was keeping her opinion to herself; maybe out of respect— fear because it could only be fear— for me. The candles continued to light my path the entire way out and this suddenly reminded me of the strange dream I had. What had that been about? Was that something I needed to worry about? I was still here trying to figure out what that demoness wanted from me and here I was, presented with another problem. I sighed heavily and that was the same moment that we reached the mouth of the cave. The cold night's air hit me and this helped me feel better.
