BRYAN'S POV
I found it hard to breathe properly as I stood before my father's picture.
I was still finding it hard to believe everything. How had this happened? Why had it happened now?
I thought that we had already survived every obstacle. Everything was supposed to be fine again. Why did it all go south? Why did it get ruined now?
I swallowed hard as I turned away from the picture. Tears started flowing out of my eyes as I felt my wolf dancing around my mind with grief.
Why did this have to happen to us of all people? He was not supposed to die any time soon. He still had a couple of years ahead of him.
"What are we going to do now?" I muttered quietly. "What are we supposed to do without you, Dad?" I went on. "How are we supposed to move on?"
