DAISY'S POV
I had never been this scared my entire life.
My body started trembling as I stared at the horse's body parts. My teeth started clattering against themselves and I felt the color drain from my face.
Tears threatened to flow out of my eyes as I watched in horror.
This was way beyond me. This was more than I could handle. It was out of my league.
Whoever had done this had declared just how dangerous they were. And it also showed that they were ready to stoop as low as possible just to get what they wanted.
Yet I could not understand why they wanted me dead. What had I done? Whom had I wronged?
What did they stand to gain by doing this?
"Guards!" Zac suddenly roared. "A threat to Daisy is a threat to us all. Go into town and bring me the one who did this," he ordered.
