Chapter 1: The Encounter It was a dark and stormy night when the man from the Mafia showed up at my doorstep. I had just lost my parents in a tragic car accident, and the last thing I needed was someone demanding money from me. But that's exactly what he did. "You owe us a lot of money," he said, his voice cold and menacing. "And if you don't pay up, we'll take something else instead." I was terrified. I had no idea what my parents had gotten themselves into, but I knew I couldn't let this man take me. Without a second thought, I turned and ran. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me, my heart pounding in my chest. I had no idea where I was going, but I knew I had to get away from the man from the Mafia. I couldn't let him take me. I found myself in a dark alley, the rain pouring down around me. I was cold, wet, and scared. But I knew I had to keep moving. I couldn't let them find me. As I ran, I heard footsteps behind me. I knew they were getting closer. I had to find a place to hide, and fast.
