The frigid early morning air that accompanied Gwen as she walked down the city streets had caused her to shiver while hugging herself with every distancing step. Her mind began to wonder in a million different directions just what it was about this girl that made him forget about her. But her insecurities spoke against her, claiming she was nothing to brag about. This caused any amount of self esteem she had to plummet to the floor. She began to wonder if there had been anything in her life that gave some hope of being more than a drug statistic. But she could only think of the fact she had been 29 days sober.
