I stopped on my tracks and face her. “I promise I cleaned up today,” she quickly clarified. I didn't need much thinking, I was already at my lowest and I couldn't be left alone with my thought. “Sure why not ” I answered slowly approaching her. She opened the door and came in after me. Loud music played from a speaker, Dolly jumped over a pile of moving boxes making her way to the speaker. She turned it down till it was incompletely inaudible. Dolly's place was just as I predicted. In the middle of the living room was a brown sofa with all sorts of stains on it. I sat carefully looking around for a cleaner seat but there wasn't any.
