"Dad, how much did you give her?" Colton asked as he looked at her lying there. It's been three days since I took her.
"Enough to keep her asleep. Once we reach a spot, I know we will be safe for a while. I want her out of it. We can travel faster without having to fight her."
"What about the others?"
"We will meet up later. It will be harder for them to track us if we are not together. They will lead the trackers in a different direction while we keep this heading."
"What about the pack and Mom?"
"Your mother will be fine. She knew nothing of the plan. So she cant tell them anything. My beta is watching over the pack. It may be a while before we return, but we will return there when the time is right."
