Nathalie has always dreamt of this day, exchanging vows with her husband, and when he reed the vows to her, it was the most beautiful feeling in the world.but just as she was about to resight her vows to him, there were intruders. And just like that ,the most important day of her life became the most horrifying day of her life, her beautiful white dress was all bloody, she has never seen that much blood and dead bodies in her life before. And to top it all, everything was her fault. Seventeen years ago she had took pity on him , to her then , he was an harmless child whom was being treated unfairly. she couldn't sit and watch him die, so she let him go . After he escaped, they found out that she was the one that let him escape, everyone blame and hated her for letting the demon out . She was even locked up in his place for two days without any food . even her own mother was angry with her, still as years passed they kept reminding her about it, but she didn't regret it even a bit. but then , they heard the rumours , about how the demon child has returned to destroy them all , just as the prophecy pridicted . They spent years running and hiding, moving from one place to another hiding from him,and all along everyone kept blaming her for their predicament, yet she didn't want to believe it. But now, what she was witnessing with her eyes, was the beast himself, this can't be the innocent child she rescued years ago. What have she done?, her kind gesture turned up to me her worst mistake, she have caused the death of so many people by saving his life, and he didn't even look at her once, seeing that he was sucking the life out of the man she was supposed to be married to now, she couldn't take it again. she screamed, stop . Her scream was so loud that it shook everyone, but that wasn't what made him stopped . Max stirred at her in daze, angel?, his angel is alive, and looking at her now,he realised she was the bride to be, it was like he just stepped into the room, everything disappeared that instant and all he could see was her. He let go off Lucas quickly and rapped his arms around her in a strong embrace, Angel, I finally found you, he said with so much emotion in his voice, he didn't care that everyone was watching, or the secomstances of their meeting, he could never forget this golden brown eyes, that reflects so much light, she is still the most beautiful woman he has ever set his eyes on even with the bloody clothes, nothing could conceal her light. He inhaled her scent and smiled in satisfaction, she smells so good,like the apple pie she fed him. nothing else mattered to him at the moment, he just wants to hold her like this, he wasn't really sure if she was real or he was imagining her, because how can she smell like apple pie?, he was afraid she might disappear if he let go. Everyone was shocked at the scene they were witnessing at the moment. is this real, was this their scary demon alpha Max? Who is this woman and how did they know each other, why was he hugging her like this?. Everyone kept exchanging confused glances. Lucas fell to the floor weakly as alpha Max pushed him away. his mum, leader Monica crawl to his side to check on him, he was alive but he had lost so much blood and was still bleeding, Dalia was still behind Nathalie,frozen in place. Everything was happening Infront of her like a dream, a very bad dream. Beta Leo was shocked but not like the rest of the warriors, he had heard the story from alpha Max about how he was saved by a little angel, and he also knew part of the reason he kept searching for the Cresent moon coven was not just for the revenge, he was looking for his angel, and hearing him call her angel ,just confirmed it. Nathalie was in a daze as he hugged her like that, snapping back to her senses, she try to push him away but he wouldn't budge, instead he tightened his hold on her. Anger swelled within her, how could he be so shameless, after everything he has done, he dares to hold her like this? This monster, it was her fault that he became like this, so she will personally end him. Die she monster! She screamed as she forged a knife out of tin air and stab his chest with it. Everyone gasped in shock, Max eyes widen in shock as it down on him what she just did, he suck in a sharp breath as the pain sored deep within him. It wasn't just the pain of the stab but her words, die you monster. they cut deeper than the pain of the knife that Pearced through his chest. Beta Leo rushed quickly to his side, and ordered, kill them all . Before the warriors could make any move, alpha Max wave his hand for them to stand down. Take them to the pack he managed to say and collapse on Beta Leo. What are you waiting for, Beta Leo yelled, arrest everyone of them and take them to the dungeon. Yes Beta Leo, they replied and took everyone away. Back in the demon wolves pack, alpha Max was still unconscious and his breathing was laboured, they called the pack healer Narrisa to check on his wound, Narrisa checked his wound in a frown, the wound is not deep enough to treathen his life, but it's clear the wound is no ordinary stab from knife. He was no ordinary wolf so his healing ability was very high, he should have been healed by now, but in this case, he is not healing, they tried feeding him blood but he refused to take it. there is a black gas like smoke coming out from the wound, there is a black magic inside of the alpha's body, that is poisoning every cell in his body, we need to find a way to get it out or stop it from spreading any further, Healer Narrisa explained, am afraid there is nothing I can do except we find out the type of magic that's inside him or how to get it out, only the person that did it can reverse it.
