Alpha Max, everything is set for the night, Beta Leo informed, alpha Max nodded his head in approval,with a devilish smirk plastered on his face, finally, he has succeeded in locating the witches, nothing must go wrong today, he said with authority. Yes alpha, Beta Leo replied bowing his head, our soldiers have been stationed around their territory, once you give the signal, they will attack. Max was only eight years old, he just lost his mum and they were talking about taking his life like he was an animal, he was scared and lonely, he cried till he couldn't anymore, he was weak, he has been locked up for three days with no food, Max curled up on the foor of the cold cell, then he heard the little girl's voice, Hey! The little girl asked with concern, Max stirred at her blankly, he had lost all hope in life, but then he saw her, she was like a shiny moon appearing in the sky on a dark starless night, he saw light in the darkest coner of his life . Hey! Can you hear me? Are you alright?, she batted her eyes in concern,waving her little hands in his face, is she an angel, that will explain why she is shining so brightly, he tried to to stand up, he was very weak, his legs were wiggling, he held onto the iron bars to steady himself. Max took it gingerly like his life depended on it, he shove the apple pie in his mouth and chewed it quickly , he feared someone might snatch it away from him if he doesn't eat quickly. Take it easy the little girl adviced, you are going to choke on the food. They heard footsteps coming towards them and they both panicked. The little girl's eyes widden with worry, someone is coming,she whispered and ran to the far Conner to hide herself , he didn't know who she was to this evil people or why she came to help him but he could tell from her worried look that she will be in serious trouble if they knew she was there. Max turned his back to the intruder and lay down on the cold floor so he or she wouldn't see him eating.
