HARRY CAME BACK

Once we got inside the car, Liam helped me spray some pain reliever to ease the pain.I hugged Liam through the whole journey that I didn't even realise that we had already arrived. We alighted from the car and headed inside the club where we met that the guys had already settled and were waiting for us."Hey ,what took you so long to arrive?" Kyle asked irritatingly.

" Sorry guys ,I had to help Debby with her foot " Liam apologised to them before sitting .

Shortly after the waitress arrived and took our orders. "Guys,this is Enzo he is a friend of mine,,well I guess it's Kyle ,Sharon and Debby who don't know him. " Calvin said.

" It's a pleasure to know you Enzo, ooh and am sorry about earlier. By the way am Debby Daniels. "I introduce myself to him before Kyle and my friend did the same.

It's interesting just spending time with friends while the night fades away slowly. I felt that the room had become stuffy and I was also tipsy from all the drinks that I had, I excused myself and headed outside for a fresh air.The night is calm and relaxed well except for the fact that there was a loud music from the club .

It started becoming cold when I decided to head back only to find that My brothers and Sharon had already headed to their respective rooms while Enzo was no where to be seen, as for Calvin he was still sitted drinking beer with a sad look on his face.

" Calvin are you okay?"He looked at me as if trying to see who it was ,suddenly, his eyes lit up with a ray of warmth and joy.I could hear my heart beating fast coz honestly I did really like him but kept it secretly so seeing his eyes made me really happy. I was still on cloud nine when I heard ," Lisa you are back. Please don't leave us again.I really miss you.Don't go,don't go please." He hugged me tightly that it was difficult for me to get away from me.Disappointment ,jealousy and envy were the emotions and feelings that filled my jeart at that moment.

"Calvin,let's go ,let me help you to your suit coz you are really drunk." I told him as i struggle to support his weight on my shoulder.Thank heavens as this was a VIP room. I helped him till I laid him on the bed and ready to leave but he held my hand tightly and pulled me towards him.

I struggled to get off him but my strength was not equal to his,besides I was not sober.

"Lisa ,I still love you ,sweetheart let's go home"Calvin kept on calling that name which made me feel betrayed. It was then that I shouted at him " Shut up Calvin, you need to wake up,I am not Lisa,,please let me go."All that went in vain coz the next thing I heard was the sound of a clothe being torn.

"Calvin, let me go please "I begged him but he didn't hear anything. I pushed him but he held my hands tightly, tears started rolling down my cheeks. I don't remember what happened next coz the last thing I remember was a sharp pain that felt like my skin was being torn and became unconscious.

I woke up I the morning feeling sore on all parts of my body.I could see red marks on both hands as I tried to recall the last part of that night, I started shedding tears as I felt hurt. I heard the door of the bathroom opened, I turned to face him only to see his sharp eyes were staring at me full of hatred and disgust.

" Debby, I never knew you could stoop too low like that to get a man.I never expected that you could do such,is this what you do with any man you meet?Let me warn you then, I never want to see you anywhere near me or my daughter or family. "He walked out banging the door behind.

I was lost in thoughts kept wondering what wrong I did. I felt heartbroken coz never in my life did I ever imagine that I would be called a wh**re.He never even tried to listen to what I has to say nor did he ask me.I cried for god who knows how long till I fell a sleep again.

When I woke up it was around midday .I gathered my strength and headed to the shower, all the words that Calvin said kept ringing in my mind.I found clean clothes left on the bed with a note on it, "This is for saving my daughter.Good day Miss Daniels. "A pang of hatred could be seen in my eyes as I prepared to leave quickly.

I swore to myself that I will never come near Calvin. I arrived home early and luckily for me no one was in the way as I headed towards my bedroom.

I woke up in the morning only to find that I had slept with the sister of my friends. I tried to recall what happened last night but I couldn't. I decided to take shower so as to think calmly. When I was done I found her already awake.Seeing her in that pitiful state was something that I didn't want to see in her. I don't even know why I shouted such painful words at her.I didn't even listen to her neither did I give her time to explain. I have been frustrated in my office, pacing around trying to think if she is okay,obviously not .Since the day that I met Debby I knew she had a crush on me but I couldn't open my heart to her. I sent my secretary to inquire the whereabouts of Debby only to be told that she had not left the room and she had been sobbing. I was regretting what I did but still I didn't want to acknowledge my wrong deeds. I asked my secretary to go out and buy her some clothes and some painkillers. I also wrote a note coz I didn't want to give her hopes. I have been waiting for my secretary for nearly an hour to ask how she is.I heard a knock on the door ,I composed myself and ushered him in." How is she?"I inquired.

" Sir,Miss Daniels was still a sleep when I arrived but honestly she is not okay."

I panicked when I heard that,"alright you may leave."I have been asking myself questions ever since I heard that she was not okay.

Days went by quickly and I haven't heard anything about her since then. She even stopped going to her brothers' office and even business parties. I asked Liam,pretending not to know what's going on," Liam ,where is Debby?It's been long seeing her."

He shook his head slowly, " She seems to be busy, I think it's about her project, so we haven't had much time to talk coz I really feel like something is not right with. Honestly man,I am worried about her but she always doesn't want to worry us, but if she is hurt I will find out and that person will not see their next generation. "

One thing I have known about Liam is that he never threaten anyone only when it comes to his sister, he will do all he can to protect her.

I left the meeting in a hurry coz I really felt guilty.

Since that day, I decided to concentrate on my studies and project coz I had only three months to present a project with my seniors. This has become the best way for me to distract myself from thinking about what Calvin had said. At some point Ethan once found several open books scattered on the table the seat and the floor and I had already fallen a sleep holding a book on the floor. He took a picture of the scene and the very next morning I got a lecture from them.I do recall nearly crying for what they said while we were having breakfast. Ethan saying, " Princess are you okay? , you know that you shouldn't pressure yourself too much."

Kyle then joined into the conversation ,"Princess, I really miss you,you no longer have time to even talk to us."

" Don't worry about me, and am really okay it's just that I have been busy with the project,,sorry Kyle when I finish it,I will accompany you more often. "I said that as I got up.

Deep inside I knew they were worried and were not convinced coz never had I read that much during the previous years.

Three months had passed since that incident ,and our project is coming up well ,we are just waiting for feedback from our superiors in England since it was an international project. Nobody in my family knew what kind of a project it was besides I wanted to surprise them. As for my parents they have been travelling alot since they handed the business over to my brothers while my grandpa decided to stay in the countryside but usually comes to see us.

Today my parents decided to throw a party to celebrate Ethan's success for opening the company's branch in France.For me I didn't know what plans my mum had ,I thought it was just a family dinner that's why I was not in hurry to get ready. I locked myself in my room watching Alchemy of Souls, a Korean drama. Time flew by quickly, until my nanny came and knocked on my door." Ooh honey why did you lock yourself in? Your friend has been looking for you, dear you haven't even dressed yourself, Omo! go take a shower quickly let me choose for you what wear. "

I didn't understand why she was making a big fuss out of it but decided to listen to her.," Okay nanny I will be out in a moment but could you wait for me? " She just smiled at me as she pushed me into the shower.

I took my bath quickly and came out ,I found my nanny had taken out a red fiery dress that I didn't even know it was there , but I was shocked to see why had to put on such a fancy dress. I asked her the reason why,"Nanny, it's just a simple lunch ,why am I suppose to wear such a fancy dress?"

" Ooh sweetheart, I forgot to tell you that there will be a few guests from the company also ,so please hurry up "

I got dressed quickly and put on simple make up coz I didn't have much time., as for my hair I just let them hang.

" Nanny am done let's go."...

We arrived at the garden and everyone had already settled down ready to eat but now all eyes were on me. There were several people present some with their families also.But only one particular person got my eye ,that's my grandpa, it's been long since I last saw. I ran towards him while calling him, " Grandpa!"

He just laugh at my silliness coz he knew that I had already forgotten that we had guests. He chuckled " Dear slow down you might fall down. "

" I missed you so much grandpa," I said that while hugging him. " I missed you too my dear ."

" Princess why don't you sit,you will catch up with your grandpa later ,for now the guests are watching. " My sweet moments with my grandpa lasted for a short while until my mum warned me that's when I remembered we had guests.

I cleared my throat to hide my embarrassment ,"Hello everyone,am sorry about that, please you are welcome enjoy your meal." I smiled at the guests and headed towards where my sit was.

I sat next to Kyle and ate in silence while my brothers and parents were all engaged in conversation, I wasn't really interested much in conversing with them until a cheerful voice was heard that's when everyone stopped talking ," Pretty sister!", I tensed at that moment coz I remembered the warning from Calvin, Kyle noticed that I was kinda of shaking so he held my hand and smiled at me .I turned to look at Ariel who was running towards me, I got up to hug ." I missed you so much pretty sister. " she said.

I hugged her more tightly then said, " Baby, I missed you so much and am sorry ,sister hasn't had time to visit you, How about this why don't you go sit with your grandma then we will talk later. "

" Okay, I want to sleep you today. " she said ,I really couldn't deny a child but those words were what kept me on toes. I smiled at her then nodded my head.

I saw Calvin looking at me with a complicated look. I went to sit but unfortunately, Kyle's glass of wine slipped off the table and the drink poured on my dress.

"Siz ,am sorry "Kyle apologised. I looked at him then said " It's okay " before whispering, " Besides, I don't want to sit here listening to business stuff and am full also"

" Same case, am bored, I don't understand anything, how about we leave together "

I chuckled before excusing myself, Kyle also did the same and we left together.

We could here our mum complaining about how Kyle and I hated business .

As we were heading to the house my phone rang but I decided to ignore since I thought it wasn't important until Kyle urged me to pick up my call.I was surprised to see Ivan' s call coz he rarely calls me unless it's something to do with the project.

" Hello Ivan ,what's up.."

" Debby get to the airport now we are leaving for England, besides our presence is required immediately. "

" Why ? what happened? "

" Debby we did it ......am so happy but I don't know why we are required at the Palace by the way the Palace sent it's plane to pick us up. "

" What? are you serious,,like are you sure of what you are saying?"

" Yes am serious, now get ready immediately, it's your senior's order" He said that and ended the call.

I was still in a state of shock when Kyle shook , " Little sister what happened? ",,

I started whispering as tears of joy flowed, " I did it ,I did it,we made it " until I shouted loudly as I hugged my brother, " Kyle I made it ,we did it ,Oh my God I can't believe what's happening " ....Kyle was confused at what I was saying.

I saw my best friend heading towards us while the guests were now looking at our direction after all the shouting. I ran and hugged my bestie telling her that I did it. But I knew she wouldn't understand as she didn't have any idea of what I was talking about, only Ethan knew about my project and everything concerned.

I called for him not minding that the guests were still there, " Ethan, I did it, I made it"

Since he knew what I was talking about, it became easier to converse with him. He came running towards me and hugged me, " Am so happy for you and am proud of you siz,,,,aren't you going to tell everyone what's its about. "

" Nope ,it's a surprise. But first let me change my clothes. " I ran to my room as fast as I could to change.

I wore a black trouser and a white top with boots, then headed towards the garden where I found everyone had already sat.

My mum was the first to ask what all my excitement was about. " Sweetheart, aren't you going to tell us what happened?"

" Well mum I have been working on.......vrrrrrr!! "....I got interrupted bya call.

" Sorry mum ,let me pick this call,,"

" Hello ,Ivan"

" Debby where are you, there is a change of plan, the Prince is in the country and he is in a hurry so he decided to pick you up with his guards. "

" What? mu parents don't even know what I have been up to,,,,Sh*t Ivan were you serious coz they are here,,let me call you later. "

" Sorry about that ,okay I have been working on a project and it was successful, I can't go into details coz there is a great guest landing any moment from now."

" Who is that guest? " my dad asked.

" Well dad ,that's a surprise " I said as I winked at him mischievously.

Shortly after several helicopters landed and several people came heading towards our direction, by now most guests were already shocked to see who it was ,the Royal guards of England escorting their Prince.

" We are sorry to interrupte your lunch Mr and Mrs Daniels, but we are urgently looking for your daughter Miss Debby Daniels, "the Prince stated directly I couldn't see him well coz he was facing my parents, but when he turned to face our direction I was beyond shock coz the person who was standing there was Harry our junior high school friend who left us suddenly. Both Sharon and I were sad coz he left without even goodbye.

"You !"both Sharon and I shouted at the same time.

"You left us.." Sharon said

"Do you know how much we were worried?"I said.

"Were we even friends?you never even bothered to say goodbye "

"Days went by became the target of everyone?"I said that recalling our high school moments.

"You left ,and we got bullied ,do you know what happened next?" Sharon was already teary and so was I

" We were both forced to leave the school, coz you weren't there protect us." we both said simultaneously

Harry was bombarded with several questions that we had been waiting for answers for years.

" wooh ,my girls chill okay ,and am sorry about what happened as for the reason it's a long story,plus am in a hurry, now please forgive me and give me a hug coz I really missed you two"

Everyone at the table was already wondering what was happening .

" Can somebody explain what's going on?"My dad asked.

"Sorry Mr Daniel, am Harry and these two were my best friends when were still in high school but I had to leave coz of an urgent matter and now I need help from your daughter urgently, it's with the regard of the project she did...."Harry said.

"Well it's about the...." I interrupted Harry coz it was a surprise for them

"Well dad, the project was a surprise for you guys but there is a little bit more about the surprise but I can assure you that it's legal, so could you please relax for a moment. "I said to my dad.

"Okay I believe you but next time ask for help if you need any "my dad concluded.

"Well sir allow me to take your daughter coz she is urgently needed at the Palace besides I think she might stay there for at least a month. "Harry said.

"If that's what she wants then fine. "

Harry looked at me asking for my opinion.

I then nodded agreeing to go with him .He gave me a few minutes to get everything that I needed sorted out.After a short while I was done ,I came and hugged my family and bid them goodbye after promising to call them.

Harry stood up and said ,"Am really sorry for the interruption please continue with your meal,,,,bestie walk us out towards the plane will you? " he said that to Sharon before facing my parents and siblings.

" By the way Mr and Mrs Daniels, you will be shocked with what your daughter did and you guys you have the best sister who will really make you proud,,,okay I can't say more we have to go " What Harry said left my parents and brothers and the rest of the guests surprised.

" Hey bestie I know I have a lot to explain, how about I invite you to England once Debby is done with the project coz it's confidential then we can catch up. " Harry said inviting her to the Palace.

" Sure ,but on the condition that you will take care of Debby," I smiled at her when I heard about that the hugged coz I really felt bad leaving her behind.

" Okay ,I promise, we have to go now see you soon " Harry said that as he hugged Sharon and I bid her goodbye one more time.

We boarded the helicopter and I could see my family still waving which made me emotional. We left for the airport to go with my professor and seniors.
