In Between Two Worlds

Chapter 1 The Arrival Nana was a 15 year old girl who lived with her foster parents, her parents died in an accident when she was just 10 years old. However two reason for the "supposed accident" still remains a mystery to her . Nana lived with the family of Mr and Mrs Jack Rollins . They have 4 children with Nana making them 5 and a family of seven ; Janel, Janet , Jamal and Jake . They were known as the 4j's but because of Nana most people stopped calling them that. Jake was the eldest and Janel was the youngest . Jake and Janel loved Nana and always treated her like family while Jamal and Janet despised her Soo much. Before Nana parents died her father was a successful business man who gave all his wealth to his daughter but was held by their lawyer Barrister Peter. Nana foster parents never liked her and always treated her like a maid , they were wealthy but Nana always wear tarted clothes and looked pale but they never bothered to care , Jake and Janel saved up their monthly allowance to buy her food and clothes without their parents notice. As usual when they returned from the mall , they all went to Nana's room to chit-chat , Nana was thanking them without stopping unknowing to her , her mother stood by the door and heard everything . Angrily she pushed the door open and shouted as usual . "So this is what you do with the money I give you? " she questioned Janel and Jake she turned to Nana and asked " so you have started using my children like puppets ? Did is what you do? Just you wait and see!" . "What's wrong with us helping our sister" asked Janel and Jake "Everything is wrong" the mother replied . Nana was angry and told the woman to keep shut , she ran and left the house , Janel was so worried about her and tried calling her but she didn't pick up . The whole family were worried about her because if anyone found out that her family has been treating her badly it will ruin their reputation. Soon afterwards , Nana returned to the house with her aunt . "Where have you been?" Said her mother "O you hag I didn't come back for you " replied Nana "That's right she'll be moving out of the house" her aunt backed her up . Nana only came to say goodbye to Janel and Jake and also pack her belongings. She had a flight to catch tomorrow , Everything happened too fast , They were all short of words and were gasping for Sir . Janel mother was extremely happy while Janel and Jake were sad, the only friend and good sister that they had was about to leave them and there was nothing they could do but just watch her go . Nana left early in the morning but didn't forget to say goodbye to Janel and Jake . Nana reached the city of New York at 10:50am , she lodged in her room and contacted her aunt and siblings before going to bed .! Chapter 2 My Help Nana woke up early in the morning to look for a house to rent , she saw a poster and decided to call the number. When she called the number and said she was in search of houses, she was about to talk about location before the person cut the call . Meanwhile she left the hotel around 8am and it was almost 7 in the evening she was so exhausted so she went into an eatery what a big sign board and a write up ; "Chini's Eatery " . As soon as she sat down a waiter came to her and gave her the menu , she ordered and after two minutes her food was brought to her table, a guy after his work hours came to sit with Nana, Nana was so furious that she said ; "Hey stay back I'll call the cops " It attracted a lot of attention , on a second look at him she realized that it was the waiter who gave her the menu , he introduced himself as Alex and he noticed that she was sad and wanted to ask her what's wrong when Nana cut his thinking and said; If you do this to other girls please leave cause am different" . Alex said he was just curious and don't do it to other girls . Nana just decided to tell him that she needed a place to stay and that's she's New in town and need to resume school , he offered her help and after eating she followed him and they went to a nice looking apartment, it was beautiful and the bed was so comfy , but the rent was $20,000 a month , it was tooo big for her so he reduced it to $10,000 , she got back to the hotel and picked up her bags and left for the house, Alex gave her his number and said; " Turns out you needed my help" before he turned around and left . Nana was so happy and told her aunt and siblings right away , Janel and Jake were happy but decided not to tell anyone in case they will cause trouble for her, however she still gave them her address , she was so happy that she chatted him up , so they could meet in the afternoon . Am gonna shine..... was the song Nana was listening and woke up with she decided to clean a bit before she went to the eatery . She saw Alex waiting for her at her reserved seat , with his hands raised up saying ; Over here Nana " . She hurried up and said ; Hey friend what's up?". Alex chuckled and replied ; "Am fine" as they walked into the eatery. Chapter 3 Enrollment After eating, he asked her which school she attended and she said she was yet to find out with his help she got enrolled into Chini Pilgrim Academy [Our Aim is Your Success] . Nana loved the fact that she could start the next day , she kept on thanking Alex buh he said it was nothing and that's what friends do for their friends buh wasn't it to sudden? . The next day she woke up early arranged her house and left for the school. When she reached her school, she was excited but there was something weird about the school either they were dark and tall or had long nails and green hair or their fangs a bit longer. She entered the auditorium and all eyes were on her which was so creepy, she then discovered the school was filled with Vampires, witches and wolves . "Lucia Lucia " a girl's name was chanted not just any girl buh a weird looking arrogant girl , turned a girl into a statue just because the girl refused to bow down to her. In curiosity Nana asked who was Lucia and someone gasped and said she's the queen of the witches she was stunned and short if words "W.......i..tches? " another girl came to her and introduced herself as Clara Beckons. which was a weird name buh still Clara became her friend from that day . Clara was so curious about which part she was into unfortunately she said ; " I'm Nana , Nana Rollins and I am a HUMAN " , Clara was shocked and told her not to tell anyone and if they asked she could say she was I'm half vampire half wolf because some looked like human . After an introduction of five minutes they hurried to the school hall where Alex was was giving an open speech, she was surprised and wanted to meet him but Clara was in a hurry to the toilet so they left immediately. After a while, they were dismissed and had to go prepare for their assembling and sports recruitment. { The Assembling is when all the students come together to be separated into their class of species , they were five classes : the witches , the vampires, the werewolves, half witches half vampire and half vampire half wolves . Alex was the strongest werewolf and still had the power and traits of vampires which made Him the powerful. Lucia was Q.O.W { Queen Of Witches } but was considered weak when compared to the vampires. After Assembling, students were opened to a quick fight where they challenge anyone they liked. Chapter 4 The Battle After the assembling Nana searched about powers and how she could make hers on their school platform and with the help of her friend it was easy. She made a bracelet that contained witches and vampires power which took a week buh sounded like a day , all they did was trap someone power inside a bottle leaving little in them and add some other things . During the lunch hour Nana saw Alex and his friends and decided to say Hi , she rushed over to the place he was and said ; " Hi Alex " Alex replied buh he didn't seem as excited as she was to see him , the boys around him chuckled and said together; "Alex? who's she Drew?" however he ignored them and continued eating. Lucia spotted her as she entered the cafeteria and was fuming with anger as she went over and said; " Who are you?" Nana answered and said she was Alex's friend she told her to leave immediately unless she wanted to be cripple, Nana was furious and wanted to speak back when Clara rushed and dragged her, Nana was about to leave when she said; " Yes run along ORPHAN" she emphasized the word orphan that ran and made Nana push her " Oh it seems like you're really an orphan!!" . Lucia said with a smirk "How dare you push her have you lost your mind ? " Voices were heard and people intervened because she was the QOW . Lucia stood up and smiled but Nana was angry all of a sudden Lucia threw some spells at Nana but she blocked it " Seems like the ORPHAN knows a little spell" Nana fangs became longer gradually "Uh-huh...... ohh and have vampires qualities as well" Nana just snapped her fingers and Lucia was knocked out and fell on the floor. Everyone was shocked because she was QOW and was easily knocked out, Alex wanted to intervene but was stopped by the girls who were exchanging powers when the supervisor came to the cafeteria and asked what was that someone replied and said it is : " The Battle " The supervisor froze everyone but Nana didn't which threw a threat , she tried to ignore it and unfreeze everyone, she then dragged Lucia and Nana to her office to explain what went wrong but Lucia smiled and said it was it was nothing when Nana tried to speak up when Lucia whispered and told her to keep shut. she turned to the supervisor and said out loud " We are fine" and she let them go. "You have luck you didn't tell her anything " Lucia said " Maybe I didn't but somehow I will" Nana responded " You orphan you'll lose your life if you do so " " what do you mean? " " And why will I tell you? JSYK this doesn't make us friends " " Hmph who want to be friends with you? " Nana said before leaving.
