Cassie was dressed in a white sleeve gown. It was lacy and had beautiful yellow sunflower designs on it. Cassie had chosen it after realizing she didn't even have another dress to wear because she hardly went to church. It was funny right? The last time she'd gone to church was when her father was alive and now, it was weird to see herself dressed in a church gown. She had trimmed her hair at the sides again so it looked shorter and the ends clung to her forehead, making it look like she had a fringe.
She slowly prepared Elijah's coffee and smiled when its smell filled up the kitchen. It drew him down of course and Cassie sucked in her breaths when she saw him. He was dressed in a black tuxedo and yellow bow tie which made Cassie wonder if he had chosen to wear that because of her dress.
